That’s a nicely posed scene of the kids hanging in arms, all smiling after your 5 hour sleep ordeal.

You feel you’ve arranged the perfect crime scene, with every detail in place. However, your most probably a narcissist, who uses known psychological methods against your partner and are disorganised in your thinking. Writing is your current medium, as it’s passive aggressive.

They used to say that there raising a family was the most important job in the world. The fact a women’s body can grow a baby, birth a baby and feed a baby (initially) is a double pike-twist-backflip miracle! But validation in the form of titles and published blog posts with accompanying ‘likes’ seems to provide more satiety for the soul.

I recant stories of my grand father in the Burma campaign not meeting his son until the age of 4 and my father trading his shoes in the winter, for turnips to feed his family in the Netherlands at the tender age of 6.

When you give birth the body provides natural hormones to deal with pain. Similarly we men are also built to endure. To say we don’t know what pain feels like, is akin to saying ‘you don’t know how it feels to squat 400kg’, or ‘Box at 190lbs>’. The weight is relative and it hurts regardless of size or gender.

Have you stopped to consider that you do your bit and we do our bit!?
