I just freshly signed up. I have been viewing different sites concerning gender issues. My marriage of 20 years ended roughly 20 years ago. Caught me by surprise. I sobered up, at her request,  which was the beginning of the end.  I tried to make things work which nearly drove me nuts. I should have just walked. Or rather……..ran! I remain single, after doing the computer dating thing. I’m fairly content in life and have grown used to being alone. I found the computer dating thing was close to applying for employment. I had a dating site scammer try to get 40k from my retirement funds. I’m grateful for the lady financial advisor I use. She knows I am frugal and alerted me of the scammer.

 

I wanted to make mention of the Chicago Bulls kissing cam on Valentines Day. I saw highlights on Sportscentre. It shows couples on the big screen and when they see themselves, they are supposed to kiss. One guy was talking on his phone when the camera panned to him and his woman. She noticed and wanted a kiss. He brushed her off and carried on the phone conversation. The camera went to some more couples and then back to phone guy. She notices again and starts again with the harassment. Again he brushes her off. After about 4 brush offs, she punches him in the arm. The crowd is booing him and the Bulls mascot comes down the stairs to her rescue. The mascot then dumps a drink over his head and scoops her up in his arms and carries her away. He is left standing there, bewildered, and being booed by the crowd. WTF? The double standards bother me something fierce.

The man at the bulls game should sue the bulls, stadium,mascot and anyone else he can name for the humiliation he suffered.. The kissing cam thing could have very well been set up. No wonder I am somewhat cynical.

I’m living in a place called Ribstone in Alberta. About 2.5 hours east of Edmonton. 5 minutes from the Saskatchewan border. 2.5 hours to Saskatoon. Still some snow on the ground. The golf course isn’t open yet but the gophers were out today. I’m thinking I dispatched about 75 this afternoon. With the snow it makes for some pretty good effects and the little buggers are easier to spot. Where are you at?

Being a newb I’m not sure what the plus 1 means, but thank you. I did notice a star under my avatar. Have I been deputized? When do I get my Peacemaker? The avatar happens to be the pic I used as my main photo on the dating sites I had been on. My mom didn’t think it appropriate. Oh well. Getting used to not feeling guilty and it feels great.

I agree that the kiss cam was staged, at least in the segments with the guy on the telephone.  It is not likely that a female who was not an actor would have not put up a fight as she was carried away by a mascot. Still, it was amusing.

In passing, I do not attend sporting events on account of the foul accommodations. Maybe if I were to be in a luxury box I would consider attendance, but otherwise, why should I park my bum amongst the refuse and rabble when the best seat in the house is the computer?

My favorite kiss cam was when it zoomed in on a pair of people particularly the smoking hot blonde girl. There is a couple of seconds of no kiss then the guy holds up a sign “My Sister”

@Harpo. Ammo is tough to find. I got spoiled when I discovered Quick Shocks or Segmented .22 shells by CCI. The bullet fragments into 3 pieces on impact. Really makes for good effects with the snow in the background. Blood spattering, chunks flying. I purchased a $1000.00 worth of them a few years back. I’m down to 300 rounds. Ran about 75 through the rifle this morning. The remaining vermin in the pasture are smarter than they were yesterday. Slithering into their holes when the truck got close. That Texas heli hog hunting looks like it would be a blast. I am toying with the idea of getting my restricted weapons permit. I would purchase the Ruger single six in .22 with the interchangeable .22 mag cylinder. I can’t legally carry it but would pack it with me whilst fencing. The guns laws in Canada are somewhat more strict than the states. Several years back a guy in Quebec lost his s~~~ and shot 14 ( I think) women. Even now, when a person applies for a firearms permit there is a section on the form that is to be filled out by a significant other regarding depression and violence. And Harpo, thanks for the Peacemaker.

 

@void. I saw that you were in Saskabush. Howdy. My dad, brother and sister all went to university there. I golfed there a few years back. The Willows and Moon Lake and the public side of the S’toon Golf Club. Dakota Dunes was sweet also. I first heard the phrase  ” He gives good wallet” from a woman there. That had me laughing. I recall seeing a video on the net somewhere of a couple screwing at a ball game in the stands out in right field. She was bouncing on his lap and when they finished he used her panties to wipe his dick off. Fairly certain in wasn’t a Riders game as no watermelons were to be seen. Go Riders!

@ MG. Get Smart was one of my favorite shows as a youngster. It was on TV right after school. The Cone of Silence and KAOS and Fang. I may even have had a little bit of a crush on 99. A little modern Get Smart.
