I heard this story about a friend of a friend of mine.
He purchased a Moissanite ring, and proposed to his girlfriend.
The VERY NEXT DAY, she went to a local jewelers to have it appraised.
When she confronted him, he simply said “Goodbye”, and never talked to her again.
