So after many years of life I get a really clear picture of the cost of relationships and can look back at what I was chasing around and where I am now. I realize I was chasing phantoms, believing in perhaps love that came from me, but also that it was somehow reciprocated. I have become dissillusioned and jaded, mainly in a good way. Perhaps naivity, or believe that people are somehow better then they are and somehow if you try “true love” exists out there, and its worth of pursuit….perhaps these things led me here.
I’m no longer young but not really old. But I’m old enough, old enough to realize I wasted a lot of time and energy on empty pursuits and could have better spent my time. I read the news and see these marches and protests and women’s movements. I can see that rights are rational, and some people have been screwed over in this life and system. But….there really is no voice for men or mens movements. Nobody is speaking out for men who have been worked to the bone, abused in low-paying jobs, raped in prison, destroyed by divorce court, left alone after serving the country. Men who have taken on maximum stress jobs managing the safety of those under them, or keeping the economy going, or flying us around the planet every day, or out there policing people that dont give a rats ass for order or law.
Theres a lot of good women out there doing things as well, I’m not saying there is not. But in no way is the lot of women’s suffering caused by men, nor is suffering their unique burden, nor are they special….or wait we are all special? But this turn of affairs aimed weather covertly or overtly at destroying men and destroying families is atrocious.
I try not to complain, but I have suffered. I rarely will talk with a woman, but even more and more talking to men is pointless. You know…you must have done something wrong in life to suffer in life if your a man. If your a woman its more like, something must have been done to you ( by a man , or the “patriarchy” ). Its a crock. The patriarchy doesnt exist. The structure society exists…and if it bears the signature, characteristics, and names of MEN…that is because it was largely FORMED, MANAGED, and CRAFTED….by MEN!!!! Did women do a part, of course! They did tradiationally raise the children and young men and girls. They worked in other areas of the system to. But men largely bore the burden, responsibility, and damage of the high-stress and labor jobs. Did women sometimes bear unhappy men in the home? Yes. But this paradigm is not unique to men. Working women have seen the stress of the system. It is stressful.
I see the current wave of insanity, which goes beyond feminism into all kinds of social justice nonsense, as sad and dangerous. It is sad because it is a sad excuse for not fixing things that are our collective problems. We point the fingers at men in leadership, police, and our government officials…meanwhile doing little. It is dangerous because this is what we are teaching our children and it is dividing people and preventing anyone from making real change.
That which is divided will fall. And as far as I can tell this feminist-driven society seeks to divide further and further. Women have filled top positions. And some of these women are damaged feminists with an agenda. Did men, throughout our history, get into positions of power to preach this division of the sexes? I think not. Men worked tirelessly to craft this fine country ( and I still feel its a fine country, despite our current problems ). Men.
Again I’m not anti-women. I’m just in my older age looking at the current situation and realizing largely I will go the rest of my life alone. Largely alone in my views and with little support. I will not stoop to the level of the feminists to make unsubstantiated claims anti-women. I will make valid claims sure. But I feel as a man, I must speak out. I feel also we must stick together. We have to help each other out. If we are divided the feminists will win more ground. I would argue any day of the week men have more emotional intelligence and more coginitive intelligence than the great majority of women. I would argue that this is never spoken of in current news and media. We are portrayed in a very very poor light. Fighting and running around like idiots in movies, while women are seen as the victims and the cool-headed ones. While in reality, cool-headed and caring men our out there making the world operate smoothly.
Well….I started out wanting to state my own challenges but this turned into a bit of a speech (rant?) . I’ll summarize it by saying that I’ll stick up for mens rights any day, and more and more see the value and need for MGTOW movements. Keep up the good fight brothers.
