I am Filmmaker, Motivational Speaker and Spiritual Teacher born in India, moved to US at age 14 and grew up in American.  I have been married for 12 years, ended up almost committing suicide because of the heartbreak over the break up with my ex wife and loss of almost every thing I owned during a ugly divorce(house, cars, business, money etc).   Enough of the back story.  We all talk a lot about Woman and their controlling, selfish personalities and their incapacity to take personal responsibility for their mistakes.  We men had to take all the blame even if it’s her fault and legal system is in bed with women.  Today I want to talk about happiness and enlightenment.  This is subject I teach to my students every day.  I want share some Enlightened knowledge that has been passed on to me though countless generations.  When I was about commit suicide due to my heart break this knowledge has saved me from ending my life.  I was finally awakened to How I am just when I completely lost myself in deep dark depression.   What I may say here might not be easily understood by every one, but I hope it awakens some of you to the truth of who you are and how to realize that you are already happiness because you are made from happiness itself.

If you ask “Who Am I?”  you might say your name, job title, looks, height, status, personality, religious and cultural identity etc.  What if that is not who you are?  What if who you are is “Not what you thing you are” then who are you?  I hope I am not losing you already.  Please stay with me and see if you can discover who your really are which will lead to lasting happiness.  I just realized that I would have to write several post to explain what I am trying to share here but let’s see where it goes. I will write few sentences here and ask you to contemplate one the words below until you understand the meaning and internalize it.  What you are about to read below is from my book I am currently writing “Get Happy Get Success”.  My apologizes, I have not edited my text, sorry for any mistakes.

Contemplate and Meditate on the words below.  I hope it help you realize the happy self your already are.  Thank you.

    ________________________
“By destroying my ego and all it’s desires(sex, love, lust,  pleasures, fame, power, objects) and attachments(wife, friends, job, status, title) and fears (fear of wealth/positions, fear of health, death, rejection, FAILURE, success, fear of losing respect) I crossed over death while I am still alive here and now, by the knowledge of my highest  spiritual  self Brahman, I enjoy immortality forever in my timeless happy existence of self, i am the Divine delight, the lord is already within me and same lord that is also within you and all beings, objects and in empty space.  This is true self realization, enlightenment and immortal bliss.

Until you empty the fuel of all your past desires and actions or karma’s you will continue to be reborn as a suffering being with mostly pain with some pleasures.  Only thing you can do now is stop adding new desires, bad actions or karma’s, add good karma’s, help others, be at peace, show compassion, seek self realization, so when you empty your past desires and karma’s you will quickly reach ultimate truth and become immortal bliss self.  Only enjoyment remains.  End of all suffering and absolute supreme immortal bliss self remains forever.

Life is like a movie and I am the actor playing all the roles.  I am always aware that life is a unreal movie and I am just acting or playing all the characters in the movie but I act as if the movie and all characters that are played by me are all really real.  Enjoy acting   Until this life as a movie ends when your body dies but your immortal bliss self will live on in infinite new life and death cycles.

To reach absolute happiness, you must Kill all the mental and physical desires by mean of complete mental renunciation, give them all up.  Kill the ego or ignorant personality by means of absolute knowledge of  ultimate reality, truth and realize your own immortal bliss self.

I am every one I meet.  I am all the good and bad in every one I observe.  I am not better then every one.  I am not worst then every one.  I am the same as every one I meet.  I and every one are exactly the same.  When I judge some one as bad, I am judging myself as if the other person is my reflection in the mirror.  I and you are the same one seed growing into root and different branches of a tree.  You and I are born of the same seed.  The good and bad qualities in you are exactly present in myself.  What I see in you I see in myself.  If I improve myself, I improve you.  My better self in the mirror is also the better self in you.  You and I are the same one self.  Self is the source of you and me.  When you suffer I suffer.  When you are happy I am happy.  You are me, I am you.  I feel everything you feel.  Pain I see in the world is the pain in me.  The joy I see in the world is joy in me.  I am exactly the same as you.  I love you for every thing you are, good, bad, ugly.  I am all that you are, you are all that I am.  You and me are one, non different from each other, exactly the same.  The difference we see in each other is only on the outer ego personality, under it the self is the same in you and me.  I see the true immortal bliss self within your heart even when ego temporary personality is covering the immortal Self.

By right knowledge alone destruction of ego is possible and by right knowledge alone self realization of lord, Brahman within your body is possible.  Through right knowledge you can dis identify with ego and identify with self. This leads to end of all suffering, and realization of never ending immortal bliss.

My self realized nature is always already here but temporary covered up by my ego and all it’s desires, attachments and fears.(golden lid covering Divine self)”

Ok, I understand your background is probably Buddhist, but how do you live in a capitalist society as a Buddhist? Some means of gaining capital has to be achieved or a person ends up as a homeless person and they end up very hungry and cold on the street.

I crossed over death while I am still alive here and now, by the knowledge of my highest spiritual self Brahman, I enjoy immortality forever in my timeless happy existence of self, i am the Divine delight, the lord is already within me and same lord that is also within you and all beings, objects and in empty space. At the time of the Flood, some people of ancient Greek ancestry living in western Asia and the region to the southwest of the Himalayas survived. They were then called “Brahmans,” and they became today’s White Indians. As a matter of fact, Brahmanism worshipped Buddha initially. It had inherited the tradition of revering Buddha from the ancient Greeks who, at that time, called Buddhas “gods.” About a thousand years later, Brahmanism began its transfiguration, just like the alterations of Buddhism in modern Mahayana, the alterations in Tibetan Buddhism, the alterations in Japanese Buddhism, and so on. Over a thousand years after that in ancient India, Brahmanism began its Dharma-Ending period. People started to worship crooked things rather than Buddha. At that time Brahman people no longer believed in Buddha. Instead, what they worshipped were all demons. Killing and sacrificing animals as ritual worship took place. By the time Buddha Sakyamuni was born, Brahmanism had already become a completely evil religion. This is not to say that Buddha had changed, but that the religion had become evil. Among the remaining cultural relics from ancient India, one can still find statues in the mountain caves from early Brahmanism. The carved statues of gods all resemble the images of Buddhas. They can also be found in Buddhism among the Buddha sculptures in China. For instance, in several major caves there are statues of two seated Buddhas facing each other, etc. Buddha was still Buddha—it was the religion that had become evil. Religion does not represent God(s) or Buddha. It was the depravity of the human heart that deformed the religion.

What he talks about isn’t really Buddhism. Read above.

To answer your questions ncook, what I am talking about is based on non dual knowledge,(Advayta Vedenta, 1,500 BC) no Buddhism.  You can still make money in the modern world while still being very spiritual.  There are to identities we all have one is the lower self and the other is the higher self.  You say it in another way, one is Transactional reality and Absolute reality.  We can make money in our Transactional reality while being in Absolute happiness in our Absolute reality.  It’s difficult to explain without some foundation in the basic on Non Dual knowledge.  I hope to write more details about his as we continue.  For now read what I wrote and see if you realize any thing new in you as you understand what I wrote.

For those interested in the above, check out ‘I Am That’, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj.

It’s available as a free PDF download, online. A compilation of no-nonsense discourses, uncovering reality.

I’m pretty well-acquainted with this stuff, in fact. Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vedas, Dhammapada, Sutras, and all…
