It’s simple – Restore Student Loan Bankruptcy

If the banks are put back on the hook for unproductive education, I.E. a lot of non STEM degrees, they will stop financing it immediately. The availability of a lot of these majors, like feminist studies and art, would plummet and SJW numbers would collapse. SJW recruiting centers, like universities and community colleges would be decimated and we would see some moderation and opposing views return to our campuses.

Going forward, a lot of students would still be able to get loans for STEM fields and a lot of technical/vocational schools would still get plenty of loans. You would see a sharp decrease in degrees that have little or no usefulness in the outside world. This would also affect a lot of extreme left non-profits as well.

–I saw this posted on another forum by a user who calls himself/herself CrustyBeaver52. I’m just giving credit where it’s due, not trying to plagarize

There is so much winning in that simple move. This needs to happen immediately.

    Great Post!

Ten steps to fix U.S. education.

No Federal funds for schools that support anti-americanism. This includes gender studies.

No adding unneeded courses like gender studies.

No courses that do not offer a financial benefit for the student at graduation.

    No student loans.

Price controls for books and courses.

    No foreigners allowed in schools.

All loans being forgiven with the loan industry being force to eat the cost loaning to those they knew could not pay.

    Abolish tenure and teachers unions.

Make teachers criminally responsible for not teaching their students.

All U.S. politicians have to send their children to public school in the U.S. in the districts said politician represents.

Faust – I’m not even going to touch “make teachers criminally responsible for not teaching their students.” I don’t even know why that would be needed if unions were abolished and it would be a nightmare to enforce. Your idea about not funding schools that are anti America also opens up an infinite number of Pandora boxes.

I’m not trying to come on here and get into cat fights with anyone but a lot of these posts from different users seem very similar and I notice they are all from people with 10k + stars. The posts are full of content that seem like a copy/paste job. The copy/paste job is related to the topic of the thread but it makes it obvious the poster didn’t actually read the content. Many of the ideas posted in the copy/paste response are hardly pragmatic, almost as if the goal is to divert attention away from the original content and bait the real users into a side argument, which usually happens. Then fallacious straw men are thrown out and people are predictably accused of being evil things such as women, foreign spies and liberal plants, etc. This lowers the general level of discussion and mood of the forum.

Federally declare the group as a domestic terror threat, let the FBI and law enforcement use its resources, and eradicate them.

    Restore Student Loan Bankruptcy

It’s too logical and sensible, so the odds are, they will never do it.

This is the only one on your list I disagree with. Education doesn’t have to be solely about financial benefit. I doubt many philosophy classes are going to help you pay the bills, but they vastly improve the quality of your life.

So what’s your problem? Faust’s comment was not only on topic, but added meaningfully to the discussion. Or do you just want people to come on your thread and write a line agreeing with you and leave it at that? What’s the point of a forum discussion if you don’t want people interjecting their own ideas? Then you accuse others (without any basis) of copying and pasting, but your own post is admittedly copied from another website? Something’s fishy here.

Antifa is pushing more people to the center and right, costing a lot of money and ruining the dems reputation and too poor to donate. They’re the best thing to happen for the republicans in a long time. Lol

See I never said education had to be solely about financial benefit. The subject was restoring student loan bankruptcy and stopping banks from making bad investments. I.E. handing out student loans to students who will never be able to repay them.

It’s amazing I wrote a post about straw man fallacies and personal attacks and then that’s exactly what I got. I don’t have an issue with anyone copying/pasting anything. Again, I never said that. My problem, is exactly what I already laid out, which apparently, again, you didn’t read.

I can’t stop anyone from acting like they’re 13. If the people here want to throw up stupid memes to insult others, use ad hominem attacks, straw man fallacies and post on threads where they only read the title, that’s your decision. This board is what we collectively make it. I’ll just exit and keep my 5 bucks a month and go talk on other message boards where discussion is more productive.

This is why no one listens to so many of you. It is hard to control ideas on the internet but easy to control context. You get a few people on a board acting like this, becomes a little cool kids, junior high school type mentality and then people just quit posting. No love loss here man. You guys keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll exit the political forums like the others before me. I will miss a few of venom’s post but really, if I wanted to sit around and defend myself against s~~~ I never said and try to repeatedly explain myself when I’m crystal clear already, I’d quit taking and go back to being married. You win dude. Congratulations.

OP, I liked your original post, even commented about it and gave it a like.

Then you went full retard. NEVER go full retard.

Faust was just chiming in to your post. Not a single attack on you, not a snide remark. Then you act like a f~~~ing wife after the honeymoon and bite his head off because it wasn’t EXACTLY in the tone that you’d prefer.

Your seriously acting like a bitch bro, making a BIG f~~~ing stink about nothing, then continuing on and not letting it go.

Nor did I say you did. Look at my post. Do you see how it says “Faust for Science wrote” right above the quote I’m responding too? I was answering Faust’s point.

So I address another poster on the thread, you assume my response is directed at you, and then you start bitching about personal attacks and fallacies. From what I can see, the only person who’s made any sort of personal attacks on this thread is YOU.

My guess is you didn’t even bother to read my post. For someone who talks a lot of s~~~, you should take a leaf out of your own book. More reading, less bitching like a c~~~. Nomadic Expat is right. You wrote a good post and then went full retard within the space of a few hours. I can almost smell your vagina from here.

It’s not the first time he’s done this. Starts with a good point, then someone says something different, and he (she?) goes off the deep end, all emotionally upset. He did it to me in my Trump post, if I remember correctly.
