I was having a conversation with a guy my age, 55, at a family function and things got around to me being single and him being married. I said to him that the down side to being single is you have less sex.

He turned to me and said that he was having no sex.

I spoke to my mother years ago and asked her when she stopped having sex with my father and she said at the age of 57.

I know there are some married men here and I was curious how long your married how often do you guys have sex with your wives?

To start out, I had sex with a girlfriend about a year ago. Before that it was 6 years.

Then there is an occasional working girl, like 4 times a year, and I think that counts.

When I was married, in the final year I was 40 and having sex maybe once every 3 weeks or so. It got to the point where she was constantly making excuses and tried to avoid it so I pretty much gave up in the end.

I have met a lot of late 30’s/early 40’s divorced women and every single one of them has been an absolute slut. I would imagine that when they were with their husbands they couldn’t bear him to touch them, so also avoided sex as much as possible.

My theory is that all women get bored of their husbands eventually and the thought of having sex with them repulses them. You then get one of two situations, they either get divorced and jump back on the c~~~ carousel before they hit the wall for good or stay with their husband, but become more like housemates.

For women, everything eventually boils down to Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks.

I see women’ sex drive as working differently then men. I don’t think women have to like a person to have sex with them, they just need to have a neutral or positive viewpoint. If you’ve lived with a woman long enough, she can develop a negative viewpoint of you, and thus you aren’t on her radar anymore. Then she could meet a complete stranger, which she view’s neutrally, and she’ll be more then happy to go to pound town.

I guess men are similar, but are even willing to have sex with someone they view negatively, up to a certain point. However, I do think post divorce anyway, men are concerned with how they will be viewed by society. For me anyway, although I’ve had my fun, I think I want to be viewed as somewhat selective, sturdy and reliable, and loyal. I think women can get away with more, as they will be viewed as ‘experiencing life’ after having to suffer through a marriage. Complete crap, but in general, a 40 year old one who behaves like she’s in her 20s is viewed more favorably then a man who does the same.
