So, it is not often I take to bother posting something like this, but it really did bother me.

This past week I read Robert Webb’s book “How not to be a boy”. For those not familiar, Robert Webb is comedy actor best known for Peep Show and his double act with David Mitchell.

I love actor’s autobiographies. I love reading how people started from nothing and rose to be something when people told them they could not. It does not matter if I am only vaguely familiar with the person’s work, I still want to read how they did it and be inspired by the drive.

Did I take anything of the sort away from this book?

No. No I did not. This “autobiography” is little more than an attack on “the toxic notion of masculinity” and how damaging, and bad it is. Webb goes on to say such things as the science between the differences in men and women is dodgy (?).

It starts funny enough, but the humour quickly drops off, and it becomes 300+ pages of dribble about..basically being a cuck and why it is good to be one.

He is very patronising towards conservative values with statements about his realisation that “not all” are sexist, racist, misogynists etc etc…

I have come away not respecting the man. I know I am in the minority, and it is getting rave reviews, but goodness this was painful and boring reading for anyone of conservative/sane/people who are not on the LGBTQZUQAZQWERTYABX+.

I doubt anyone here was clamouring to read a copy..but just encase you were a fan and wanted to…be warned.

Small mercy – I borrowed it from a Library.

    Ha ha!

This must be a confusing time to live in for a boy. He’s faced with an insane society that believes—seriously believes—that the human race has 100 genders (or more).

He’ll see boys playing with Barbie dolls and girls playing with G.I. Joes.

His boring teacher will recommend drugs to keep him from fidgeting during her boring lectures.

He’ll eat processed, microwaved foods and fast food instead of healthy meals because his mother is too busy (working, texting, clubbing) to cook.

He’ll get a sexual harassment lecture because he accidentally bumped into a girl.

He’ll be sent to a psychologist for interrogation for doing normal boy stuff: smashing toys, drawing pictures of people pooping or getting beaten up, calling someone a douche bag (that’s sexist!), etc.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ā€˜No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

    I despair. I really do.
Here is one of the few places that I can express my opinions on this sort of stuff. Being a male is seen as something to be ashamed of now. But I often think about how lucky I am not be one. I am grateful that I was born male! Really damn grateful. This is despite people saying, it is wrong to embrace this. However, being a female who, “identifies” with being a male is obviously given a free pass……..

Just don’t you dare be born an actual one!

Sigh. I would love to know the core place this madness stemmed from. You know how you would write an essay like about “What do you think the primary cause of world war 2 was” (I am sure that actual Nazi Germany would not be studied now) but I would love to read an essay on “What was the primary cause of the SJW movement/devolution of the human race” sort of thing. Multiple factors I would wager, but the earth was not like THIS as little as 5 years ago….

All of this anti male stuff reminds me of what I’ve read of the 3rd Reich in Nazi Germany. The Jews where blamed for all of societies ills and then needed to be purged. I see parallels to the beginning of that Nazi movement in today’s feminism. Males and masculinity are the source of all of society’s ills and need to be reprogramed, exterminated, and be made to be subservient to the true master race, FDEMALES!!!!

By the way replace male and masculinity with female, black, Hispanic, gay, whatever, and you’ll be chastised for being a racist, homophobe, misogynist, etc. Interesting isn’t it?

My favorite book when I was a kid was my dad’s Boy Scout manual from the 1950’s.

The definitive guide to being a man, in my opinion.

What happened to this America? Did this ever really exist? I was born in 1969, and I don’t remember things being so f~~~ed up on a personal level like things are today.

I gave you a star for suffering through it and giving your review.

I am toxic masculinity, and I like who I am.

Anybody that doesn’t like me can f~~~ off. It simplifies my World to have fewer people to deal with.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

    How not to be a boy . . .

Like being a boy is somehow a bad thing? How about we switch things around. Imagine a book titled “How not to be a girl.” But knowing you guys, you probably already thought of that.

No, I’m not a boy, I’m a man, but I don’t need no castrated cuck to teach me about masculinity.

Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.
