Oh, oh here we go again!  The following two are headlines from my local news:

“Former Ravens cheerleader sleeps with 15 year old boy, free on an $84,000 bond”  (This is pretty national, actually)

and the same day, we have this article:

“Former soccer coach, 27, sent to prison for 15 years for having sex with a 17-year-old student“

What’s funny is it’s pretty much universally known that in Texas, 17 is the age of consent as I stated before on this thread.  BUT, if you’re a teacher, you CANNOT have relations with your student even IF they’re the legal age, or it’s considered a SECOND DEGREE FELONY!

Now, as sexy as that girl might look physically, and as much as it SCIENTIFICALLY makes sense that you’d want to procreate with her and that fit, young body…DON’T.  Because ONE way or another the legal system has you pinned down and screwed.

It’s similar up here in Canada where 16 is the de-facto age of consent, but carries the exception that you cannot be in a “position of trust”. The obvious examples of this are teacher, pastor, driving instructor, coach etc.

Well, why is that? If she has the agency to consent to sex on her own, then why does it matter if he’s in a position of trust? Why is that not extrapolated to adult women? Like if she’s a 19 year old taking classes at university and f~~~s her professor, who is STILL in a position of trust regardless of her age? What about her husband? Isn’t he also in a position of trust? Is that rape now?

I can understand the position of trust thing. Trading some sex for a better grade would be an example. However, you just simply fire the person. The legal systems should never be involved as long as it’s not pedophile activity. Of course, equal application of the policy for all.

I can absolutely agree to the position of trust rule, but at least let the man give up his position if he’s teaching the class she’s in, or let him transfer to another school or department or something, ya know?  In several workplaces I’ve worked before, if two employees or an employee and a client/customer ever got into a relationship, the person was simply TRANSFERRED, not given a fragging second degree felony!  Just separate them and let them communicate on their own terms.  Isn’t today’s society all about “it’s none of our business, let them do whatever they want?”

I think the reason the position of trust clause exists is because that person can use his “trust” to coerce them into having sex with them. I still don’t really see how it’s relevant to one age group over another.

I don’t know about that but I’m disappointed to see that we’ve been lumped in with the actual chomo crowd. Kind of makes me regret ever saying anything about it.

Great discussion, . In my honest opinion, meeting with any female over the internet is just a bad idea overall. I feel if you truly, honestly want to meet, f~~~, and leave a c~~~, do it the legal way. (i.e. prostitute, bunny ranch of f~~~ing go to Amsterdam).

 

Listen, western women are all but f~~~ing worthless bunch of goddamn c~~~s, it’s like a dried up well trying to be used over and over when truth be told, that well was gone years ago. Not only that, but there have been numerous attacks on males meeting up with females on Craigslist, tinder, and POF, (uh yeah, research it).

 

I remember I sold an old school style beach cruiser bicycle on Craigslist, and one of my offers was a Female who wanted to “COME TO MY HOUSE” and see the bike, Well, one thing about life has taught me, people on Craigslist can’t be fully trusted regardless of Gender, so I told her “Let’s meet at the McDonalds just down the street from my house in the parking lot”. She was not having it, and busted out the

 

“i don’t see what the difference makes, your house, McDonalds”. So i just said “f~~~ it” and told her,

 

“listen, you’re a stranger and although I’m a Male in my 30s, the stranger danger factor still applies to my age, I don’t know who the f~~~ you are, or what you’re capable of, so that’s why I feel it’s best to meet, not only in a public place, but to make it beneficial for the both of us”.

 

She then laughed and said the all true classic line:

 

“haha, but I am a Female, what harm could i possibly inflict”

 

In which I replied “A lot”

 

She never replied me back and the bike was sold to someone else. You see Gents, Females think that they have this sort of advance, just because “Females aren’t violent and men are all rapist” mentality in which that is absolute BULLS~~~!. Don’t trust a c~~~, online, or anywhere else. I know that might seem tough to swallow, but the fact of the matter is that they will try to trap you in way way possible.

Reminds me of when I went to get something off Kijiji (Canadian version of Craigslist) and I assumed I was talking to a 30+ year old woman, I insisted on meeting on a public place due to previous incidents with territorial nutjobs who think the street is an extension of their property. I chose the city municipal building and she went silent.

I returned a couple of months later under a different name and she says “pick up only” and other lazy responses in less than 5 words, so I reluctantly accept to go to her house and she tells me where she lives. I get there and who answers the door but some girl who looks like she’s 15… She was cute but standoffish, the transaction was completed and  got the hell out of there immediately. I went back home and looked up her profile on facebook, turns out she was actually 18 and had just entered college about 4 months prior. Now why couldn’t you have met me in that very public place?

Loved DeusEx’s example & story. Takes me back to the time a girl really p~~~ed me off – on a date – when she asked… “How do I know you’re not a serial killer?”.

Just think about that. You’re out on a date , you’re making an impression, you want to find out if you will like her, and if you’ll hit it off with her. Then the worthless c~~~ asks “How do I know you’re not a serial killer?” like I am supposed to now *PROVE* to this t~~~ that I am NOT a serial killer.

This made me so angry , but rather than getting angry I just said: “How do you know I AM?????”
Now I deflected that s~~~ back. It’s up to her to PROVE that I AM a serial killer. Ready? GO. You f~~~ing useless bitch.

I rubbed her nose in her own s~~~ until she BEGGED me to stop. She knew it bothered me but instead of getting p~~~ed off, I enjoyed the humor and made her look like a f~~~ing freak. If she ordered a coffee from the guy across the counter, I would lean in and ask “how do you know he’s not a serial killer?”. After she placed an order in a restaurant I would ask “how do you know he’s not a serial killer?”… or at the bank… or the grocery store. I made her SICK of hearing it. And then I dumped her and told her why.
