She finally gets it, she finally understands. I have not cut all ties but I am single, I am out and I am free! That’s MY way and there’s no way in hell I’m letting her and her inner demons back into my world.

By the way, the opera singer is shouting “vincerò” which means “I will win“.
That’s the ultimate conclusion of the matter. I didn’t just cut and run as many others have done and suggested I should do, I prefer my way; talk out the problems untill she understands that it can’t work out between us.

Good to hear that you are in the process of reclaiming your own freedom mate! Life is too short to have it wasted on some woman demanding your servitude. Always remember that you are more than what she expects you to be.

Most likely, as the common rule dictates, she expects you to be:

– A portable ATM-machine, giving her free money just by using a little manipulation.
– An obedient house-slave, willingly fixing the home according to her preferences.
– A tireless workhorse, earning more money for her to spend.
– A wandering diary, making you listen to all the (negative) things she has felt each day (which is a lot).
– A pack mule, to carry all of her bags when you are out shopping.
– Voluntarily asexual, acting only on your sexual urges when she is in the mood for it.
– A smiling zombie, never questioning her decisions and always smile even when she is wrong.

The list may continue for quite some time. Breaking this instinctual addiction to women is both difficult and time-consuming. But once this is done my friend, life, is ready to be lived!:)

The great tragedy is that more than half those things don’t apply to her (struck out items). She didn’t expect to use me like a wallet but wanted me earning more… but we lived in the middle of nowhere with no prospects. She was fantastic in bed, or on the floor or whenever and wherever I wanted her. We decorated the house with mostly my things and had very similar tastes in decor. That’s why I’m not happy to be in this situation, it could have been something great, but she brought violent inner demons and personal problems to the party. The question you have to ask yourself is “How long can I put up with that bulls~~~?”.
