How is a good way to say “sit the f~~~ down and shut the f~~~ up” to my ungrateful mother who has been leeching off of me for years? I am beyond sick of her s~~~, but I cannot move out yet as I have a large dog and no apartments will take us. I have less than a year left in college, and with my military background and my degree, I will get a job and get out super quick.

Tuesdays are my worst days at school. Awake at 5:30am, out the door at 6:30am, and I am not back home until 7pm and I am exhausted. I get home today, and go straight into my room and lay down. She has the nerve to yell from the other room asking me if I went to the grocery store, and when I said no, she asked if I had driven past one. When I say yes, i get a simple “oh…” She was home all day doing nothing. She doesn’t work and she doesn’t do s~~~, except crochet, and yet I am supposed to stop after being gone all day, just to get her yogurt because she doesn’t want to eat anything we have!?

She needs to sit the f~~~ down and shut the f~~~ up, because without me helping pay her mortgage, she would be out on the street or whoring herself on craigslist like she used to. Is there a nice way to remind her of these facts and get her crazy ass off my back?

Probably not, but at least you’re out of there in a year. Many men are stuck with similar type wives that can’t get out due to finances, kids etc.

Do your best at ignoring her, and only talk to her as NEEDED. You’re busy with school, take the dog out more, treat yourself more to whatever you’re into, and the year will move along quickly then you can limit contact to birthday cards and holiday cards if you do that sort of thing. Everything is temporary.

You are so right it is scary. I ignored her, and she got her ass up, walked out the front door, slammed that s~~~, and went to the grocery store. Her teeth are falling out of her head, literally, and she refuses to brush or take care of them, so if she eats anything but yogurt it causes her pain. So that is literally all she eats. Plus, she is fasting to, get this, lose weight and get down to 95lbs. She is 5’1″ and wants to weigh 95lbs!?!

So she hasn’t really calmed down at all over the past few days. I ended up showing a few of the texts that she sends me to my ex-step-father and he could not believe how much of a bitch she has been to me. They were together for over 20 years, and for him to be surprised at how she is acting, I think that speaks for itself.
