Here is a typical wedding vow:

Realistically, it should be:
“I ____, take ____’s wallet from this day forward. I will steal your present and future income and wealth until I get bored and move on to a richer man. I won’t honor you or respect you or obey you.

The latter vows are much more accurate than the former vows.

The average woman is s~~~ by 20. Actually she is s~~~ even before that, but that’s a cutoff. Yes in extraordinary circumstances, there are superior women that can get married beyond that age, such as a Giselle Bundchen or something along those lines.

But the woman in this story is not one of those women, and 99.99% of women aren’t. A regular woman has to get married or engaged by 20 if she wants an elite male.
