    Is there a good width x length pixel size for a photo that I wish to upload for my avatar? All I get is a narrow horizontal slice of my image. What am I not doing correctly?

    Hello and welcome, Guy!

    AVATAR: Any average-size image should do and you will be presented with a square to resize and crop it to constrained square.

    COVER PHOTO (BANNER): +1280px wide is a preferred minimum, and you will be presented with a rectangle constrained to a certain ratio to fit. Drag the corners and resize it. It will take the correct ratio and make a cover photo out of it.

    If you like, you can send your pictures to themgtow-at-gmail-dot-com (from your registered email) with a short request attached to it and we will be happy to put the pics in for you.
