Trump had tweeted in the past, and it was posted as a highlight of his administration on here, that the he was responsible for the stock market rising to new record heights. Here is one tweet:

Since it is know that what Trump does causes things to shine, then how exactly did either Bill or Hillary Clinton, or Obama, cause the markets to contract today? Is it some sort of plot they ran through Soros or something, to cause the markets to decline? It is only fair to say Trump is only responsible for good things, and any declines have to be some other reason, right?

So, exactly how did Clinton, Obama, Soros, or any other liberal or progressive forces, cause the stock market to have a record decline? There has to be something else, or Trump either has nothing to do with the ups and downs, or he is responsible for them. So how did Obama or a Clinton, cause what happened to the market?

I think what you are seeing is a bunch of nervous nellies selling off some stuff. One person sells, and then 5 people see this as what does that dude know, then five becomes 50 then several hundred.

Some stock broker may have needed to make a yacht payment for all we know.

This is not troubling, this is a buying opportunity. Call me when the Dow hits 854.08. Then I’ll be worried. That where it was on the day I was born. Oh, and in that year, the Dow took a 15% hit.

To be honest you need to include the Bushs, Clintons, and Obama.

    For the short list.

During the 1990’s there was the enactment of NAFTA that drove factories out of the U.S., the repeal of the Glass-Steagall act (an act which previously forced banks to balance their accounting books and mortgage titles, repealing this act helped to create the bundled mortgage title mess), and mandating that 25% of all new bank loads had to go to “low income people” which gave rise to the sub-prime mortgage mess.

This all created an economic bomb that went off in 2007 which wreck the economy in ways that were mostly covered up.

The short list what Obama did on his watch was the majority of the bailout money to those pulling his strings, passing regulations meant to harm the American economy, delaying efforts to stop the Deep Horizon oil spill which wrecked the gulf coast and fishing in the area for a number of years (it later came out the Obama had investments in oil companies that had rigs off the coast of Brazil and he made money by delaying the clean up efforts on the gulf coast), passing obamacare which wreaked the health industry, and he double the national debt.

This is not counting the trillions of dollars that the MIC took by using the Bushs to start a number of wars, mostly in the middle east.

President Trump has been trying to clean up the mess before he was even sworn into office.

The economy is doing so well due to the man in charge being known to be a business man who knows how the economy works. And President Trump has shown he can deliver on his campaign promises.

The dip in the market is short term and emotion-related.

Are you seriously implying that every bump in the road and every slight increase is going to be personally attributed to a person or group each time?
Should I expect your idiotic trolling every time the Dow drops more than 100 points?

If you have something thought-provoking, productive and relevant to post, please do so.

The tripe you are flinging around now does nothing but discredit you and makes you look like a petulant child.

I thought the question was referring to the current downtrend, not presidential actions effect on the stock market over the past 30 years.

To me, the answer is, nothing. Unless it is found out that systems were hacked or something of that nature, anyone who claims this a political action is just trying to take advantage of a non-political event.

    Ok. Then do it.

Sorry, I shouldn’t act like Trump. My mistake.

I hold the theory that little that happens, good or bad with the markets, relates to the president, so increases or decreases don’t either. BUT, here is the thing, when it comes to Trump, the Trumpists fall for every single blasted thing happening, and things like a market rise (what the heck, attribute the Cryptocurrency rise also to Trump) has to be due to Trump, and every single bad thing happens to be due to some else. Trump is NEVER a reason for anything bad, just good. So, with this, why not figure out some sort of theory on how Trump will cause the markets to rise, but not to fall.

If I do post, it will end up being to ask how it is the fault of Obama, the Clintons, Soros, or anyone but Trump.

Or, you can do as Alex Jones did, and blame the market drop as a false flag by Big Banks:

So, it isn’t a correction, but a move by big banks to undermine things, particularly Trump:

Flashback: Alex Jones Predicted Stock Market Crash Blamed on Trump

So, sorry, it isn’t a correction, just some sort of conspiracy to destroy Trump.

    Or, blame the Deep State:

    The Deep State STRIKES BACK!

Idea here is to see everything through the lens of enemies trying to stop Trump. No matter what it is, it has to do with opposing Trump, as if a Republic that elects representatives democratically, is dependent on what one person does.
