I think some of the younger guys here might have ” Daddy” issues. Nobody has benefited from the feminist agenda nor do they benefit now.Yes the ship is sinking, but I jumped overboard years ago. Some catch on, some don’t. That’s life, as the old song goes.
Most young people I see today walk around with their nose stuck in a I- phone & don’t even know where they are. I see them walk in front of cars all the time then get all jerked off when the car horn goes off. There are signs on barber shops here that read: ” pull up your pants before you come in” Maybe Boomers can own a lot of the s~~~ that is today, but try growing up in the 60’s.
That’s history 101. Yes there are generational differences, but That’s life, as the old song goes

I was paging through an ad pamphlet for Mediterranean cruises sponsored by the Smithsonian, and all I could do was shake my head.

I was interested in those cruises several years ago until a friend set me straight. (He was the man who used to work winters as a “gentlemen companion” for a cruise line in the Caribbean.) According to him, those cruises are exactly what you make them out to be; international shopping expeditions for post-menopausal harridans with spa visits, playing dress-up at formal dinners, and squatting in nightclubs while trying to stir up as much drama as possible. Museum visits are the exception and are conducted at as fast a walk as possible.

Silly me, I thought I’d be spending time at archeological sites with experts in their various fields, sitting in fascinating lectures, and actually learning something.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Getting married for sex, bwaa haaa haaa haaa.

Signing a marriage contract to get sex is like voting socialist to pay less taxes.
In fact it’s even worse, since at the next election you can vote someone else erasing the taxes while there’s no cheap exit from marriage contract…

Rich married men who can’t get laid

I thought that was all married men.

Right. A cuck is a cuck. Amounts of wealth wont change that. It’ll all be gone in a divoce anyway when she monkey branches to the next wallet.

They’re like locusts. They’re moving from planet to planet… their whole civilization. After they’ve consumed every natural resource they move on… and we’re next. (US President, “Independence Day”.

    Pretty much describes women.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

The legal system where I live (Minneapolis) is as misandristic as Sweden:

    /forums/topic/why-gopher-football-took-a-stand/

Funny that, considering how prevalent Scandinavians are in Minnesota.

Actually, these days it’s mostly the grandchildren of East Prussian draft-dodgers. A lot of our Norwegians moved to the Pacific Northwest.

the younger generation of women are total f~~~ing idiots & nobody wants to bother with them.

    I can second that.

The Hot ones ( so-called ) have had so much c~~~ they’ve been f~~~ed silly & really don’t know how to do anything else.

Ditto. And they want relationships but have no idea how to make them work.

God ! And I thought I was the only one. Well not anymore! EGG! Still rich but alone. Yeah me! It’s kinda nice to go out to the garage and figure out whether you want to ride the ktm duke or the yzf-r1 to the beach for some fun. Not bragging, just saying. This is what your lives can look like young guys. A couple of houses, investments, owning businesses, some toys…freedom. listen well young men. We have your backs.

    According to him, those cruises are exactly what you make them out to be;

    What about:
Visiting the cities by yourself every time the ship arrive in a port.
Avoiding formal dinners but always use the buffet restaurant.
Spending your onboard time in: the pool, the library, the gym, and walkings on the ship at dawn (just before “attacking” the buffet, being among the first persons to eat the breakfast?).

    What about…

You’re going to spend $7,000 to $18,000 just to do that?

The selling point of these types of cruises the Smithsonian advertises is the alleged cultural enrichment which you’ll enjoy. You’re cruising in this fashion because you’ll be traveling, talking, and touring with various experts who will make visiting the museums, dig sites, and ruins something deeper and more substantial than just being part of a herd of sunburned boobs wandering around taking selfies.

While that’s the supposed reason you’d pay for such a cruise, according to my friend few of the passengers actually avail themselves of those services. They’ll boast about how they took a cultural and/or learning cruise only to act as they would aboard the Pacific Princess with Captain Steuben, Doc, Gopher, Isaac, and Julie steaming down to Acapulco.

That’s even worse than I’d guessed. Being too lazy for museums is quite a feat.

    No.
Less than 5,000 euro (less than $ 6,000) per three persons (me and my kids) in junior suite with balcony, 10-12 days (depends by the cruise). Including the full cruise and both flights to/from departure/arrival port, and a night staying at the hotel (before or after, you choose) in the departure/arrival port.
And those are high season prices.
It’s half price in low season.
Once I even had two low season cruises during a year.

What I highlighted in my first post was the degree to which that cruise line catered to self-absorbed, materialistic, middle-aged women. I’d feel sorry for the guys on their ships even if the cost were closer to what you paid.

Also, don’t kids usually sail for less?

There are plenty of cruises that aren’t like the one I mentioned: adventure cruises along the Antarctic coast, luxury cruises along parts of Alaska where there aren’t many places to shop (etc.). I’d probably rather go by car/bike/kayak (at least in Alaska), but there’s still plenty for a guy to enjoy if you go by sea.
