Has anyone who has Hotmail or a Microsoft email account been having a problem checking emails lately? It keeps taking me to a terms page with a NEXT button, which takes me to a temporary not available page. It’s been doing that for the past 2 days and I haven’t been able to check my emails since Friday night. So is this a problem with other people or is it just me?

I’ve avoided opening a Microsoft email account because it’s too much of a continuing effort of consolidation of power – which “immediately precedes the destruction of individual liberties.” Good luck with it though.

The site is buggy like that. Sometimes you want shut down an account, or change the recovery email and you get those errors endlessly.

Problem solved. I don’t know what, but Microsoft was able to fix my Hotmail/Outlook problem. All they did was reset my Explorer and opening it back up. Now I’m able to view emails again.

Hotmail was one of the red pills of internet i was served. Account was deleted due to inactivity. In similar fashion google forced linking of gmail and youtube – no privacy whatsoever online.

One of the red pills that was recently served was Microsoft paying 27.2 billion USD cash for Linkedin, for a friggin database of where people worked and who they know. Not to me, eternally grateful for that.

Well Hotmail has really not been much a problem for me. This one problem wasn’t Hotmail; it was Explorer and it’s the only time I ever saw this. The only issue I ever had with Hotmail is when someone tries to infiltrate my account, I have to change my password, and I have to use an alternate email to get that passcode and they ask too many security questions that I have to guess what I programmed in from years ago. And even that doesn’t happen often.

So Hotmail really hasn’t been a problem for me. This problem was an Explorer problem.

If you want a better email service for privacy, try Tutanota. I’ve been using it for a while and it suites all my needs. They don’t even ask for your phone number unlike most popular email services.

Thanks but I’m fine with what I’ve had for the past 14 years. Again, it wasn’t Hotmail that was the problem, it was Explorer. It malfunctioned. I mean it worked on Chrome, but not on Explorer. So people, my emails are fine.

Windows live mail is no longer supported by MS, Hotmail can no longer be accessed with it.
Hotmail’s format/functions have changed to Outlook.com which is pretty lame IMHO.
Just another nail in the nail gun that MS swapped the hammer for.
