I’m lucky to work in an environment where almost everybody is male. The few women I have as colleagues are much less girly than most women, and we’ve never had any issues with them AFAIK. There used to be a few slutty ones, but they never lasted more than a couple of months, since they were poor performers. The job is pretty demanding and we don’t have time for hand-holding. So no complaints about women here.

But today I was introduced to a new team member. He seems a nice guy. Usually I google people up to find out what’s their background. And WOOOOSSSHHH I get hit in the face by an endless torrent of feminist tweets. Pretty hard core too, with dozens of tweets per day of rape culture “facts”, statistics and also lots of male shaming. He posts screenshots of other guys on Facebook and twitter, with their pics and anti-feminist quotes.

Left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Now I need to make sure I keep my mouth shut and never open MGTOW at work. Why the hell are they hiring these guys…

Ya a few sharp millenial-aged guys on here have a clue, but I’ve seen some doozeys out there.

I work with a guy that age. New sysadmin, fancies himself a hacker. One of the types that presents as someone who knows everything, is never wrong, and has all the answers, even the wrong ones.

Still I thought I’d help him get up to speed in his new capacity and volunteered to help him learn some database work that we do.

Anyway, right off the bat when I tried to make helpful suggestions I got the “that’s the way YOU do it” kind of crap.

I finally had to dress him down a bit. I told him, so that all of our collegues could hear that it was enough with the attitude. “I’m trying to do you a favor and help you out here. if it’s not appreciated – lots of luck buddy.”

He started to be nice and show a little more gratitude/humility for a while, but eventually reverted to old ways. Lots of luck bud….

Even female feminists hate male feminists. I think they’re trying to be “the enlightened modern man” at least that’s what society, the media and schools will tell him. The truth is, he’s some desperate simp that sold every ounce of dignity he had in exchange for an ounce of female approval.
