A high-flying head hunter whose business was struggling hanged herself after being rejected for a ‘less stressful’ job at Boots, an inquest heard.

Smita Pandya, 46, headed her own recruitment consultancy firm which claimed it was a ‘leading expert’ in the international aviation industry.
When the venture began to struggle her worried family suggested she find alternative, less stressful work.
But she was discovered hanged at her flat in Clifton, Bristol, where a rejection letter from a branch of Boots was also found.

If it was a man, everyone would be mocking him for being so stupid leaving a high paying job, and laughing at him for being a loser.

I have no kindness left in my heart after living in the toxic, misandrist West for so long. Too bad. I did not create this problem, and I absolutely refuse to suffer for others that did.

Honestly, I feel bad for anyone who commits suicide. From what I can tell, she thought that being successful in business would bring her happiness, only it didn’t turn out the way she hoped. Between the business struggles and the stress, she finally snapped.
I wonder what her life would have been like if she hadn’t tried to have it all?

Just a misogynist virgin hiding away in his mother's basement. Nothing to see here...

Equality.Measuring your value by your work. Suicide for flailing. I dont believe many women use hanging as a method. More of a mans method of suicide. Hey girls..its tough being a Man isnt it!

I’ll say the same thing I would say if it were a man: You’re a loser for giving up.

These circumstances are not unique to men.

I don’t see them making headline news.

"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.

So people called a banker who committed suicide in court via a cynaide pill a pussy because he couldn’t handle getting a guilty verdict but people mourn over this chick? I don’t feel empathy for her she is just the typical post wall career chick whom ending up destroying her company.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

The pressure of being the sole breadwinner for a family is not to be underestimated. My ex told me numerous times that she had worked and she had stayed home with kids, and being a stay at home mom was WAY harder. Scoreboard, I win.

I finally told her one time when you worked it was just for you. If you lose your job you are the only one who suffers the consequences. If I lose my job the three most important people in my life have to suffer. That is a pressure you will never understand.

She didn’t get it, but the pressure is still there. I feel bad for anyone who can’t take it.

If it were a man, we wouldn’t even hear about the story in the first place.

She was a human being with a mental illness.

severe mental illness… no wonder female empowerment without power is suicidal.

Thanks jan for having some sense and compassion. We are all people regardless of our genitalia.Calling her a loser and a t~~~ is disrespectful. Disrespecting the dead is unmanly behavior in my book. And im not white knighting, crapping on someone for ending their life is childish whether male or female. I expect better from the gentleman on this forum.

Ladies, may I suggest a good grade of industrial rope to go with your industrial grade girl power?

I should start selling do-it-yourself rope kits on eBay! I’ll include eyehooks to screw into the rafters!

The coroner, (female) could not determine if she intended to commit suicide.
So is this c~~~ going to propose that charges of murder be brought against the Boots
which rejected the high flying reject ? Sounds like she may be thinking about it.

This is news because society only cares when women tighten the noose. As a matter of fact they are bringing awareness to suicides because now more women than ever are going their own way by grave diving. Until the levels are balanced off I hate to sound like a jerk but I dont give a s~~~ about women problems or tragedies. I shrug my shoulders as part of my daily strut.

Never lose sight of what brought you here.

    You are not your job.

    This.

Too many people – both men and women – balance their entire lives on a single straw. They become more and more focused on one thing letting everything else fall away and then, when their fixation fails, it seems there is nothing else left but the abyss.

This woman’s death is a lesson for you, brothers, and not an occasion for schadenfreude.

    Mens sana in corpore sano

A sound mind in a sound body.

Strive for balance in your lives above all else, brothers. Take in feeding your body, your mind, and even your soul. Wisely exercise all three. Learn something new every day, do something physical every day, stop to appreciate the innate beauty of our world every day.

Also, as usual Jan’s observation is entirely correct. If a man had destroyed himself like this young woman had, there would be no news story.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Take a look at her picture. “Ms Coy and come hither”. Another, wall smash that has lost her looks. I can almost guarantee that any success she had in the early years of her business was built on her former youthful looks. But they are gone now. So is she.

You see female real estate agents doing the same thing. First thing that goes up on a bill board is the best possible picture she can muster as a sex idol.
