My name is John in real life, but on the internet I call myself mostly JohnRambo. I live in the Netherlands, in a town near the German border. I’m 50 years, unemployed truck driver. I’m glad I found out about MGTOW, but it wouldn’t change my life, though. I was never married, and never had a girlfriend. The last couple of years I can also do without.

Hello JohnRambo and welcome!  I would have greeted you in Dutch but the only word I know in that language is ‘thank you’.

hey rambo  welcome to the forum.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

John, welcome. Can you tell us what led you here? It’s anonymous, but it helps others here to see how we came to this place in our lives.

Well, I think I always lived the life of a MGTOW. I’m unemployed right now, and I don’t think I get a job in the near future. My mother and one of my brothers live with me, so we can reduce costs (That’s not so MGTOW, or is it?). My parents always wanted me to get friends, and of course girlfriends of course, and later on to get married and get lots of children. I had a few close friends, but they left somewhere. Never been close with a woman in my whole life. It scares me to tie myself emotionally/financially, or any other way to any person. Maybe because my parents had a real bad marriage, but managed to stay together for 14 years. My brothers and my parents lived in a not so big house with my grandparents till my parents divorced. That is almost 40 years ago.

I experienced women got the upper hand, when I just wanted to observe what happened next. When I did nothing, they applied more pressure on me. That way I met a couple of real gold diggers. They never made a secret of that. They think some men don’t care.

I like to be alone. I was a truck driver for 18 years. Drove on every country in Europe. Some can’t stand the loneliness in this profession, but I liked it. I think a woman around me nagging all day would make me sick. Just someone talking about nothing special is already too much. When nothing to mentionable to say, then keep quiet.

I don’t remember how I found out about MGTOW anymore. I somewhere stumbled on an article about men abandon women, where MGTOW was first mentioned. Then I found out about Sandman’s channel on YouTube (spending a lot of time listening to his video’s), googling MGTOW, and got also here. I feels great to be among like minded, I can tell you. 🙂
