Hello chaps. I’m a newbie to this hangout – a 55 yr old Englishman living in Wales since I split with my wife of 30 years last summer. I’m aware of MGTOW through Youtube – I’m a sceptical/atheist tuber with a small channel and an even smaller subscriber base, so I’m aware of Sandman and a few other MGTOW tubes….
I’ve done a lot of reading, watching and listening and I think I have a good grasp of where MGTOW is – basically a bit like atheists, you aren’t a coherent ‘club’ with unifying belliefs/rituals, more a loose affiliation of men who don’t want much, or anything, to do with women. I can relate to that. If I have it wrong I welcome correction (who want’s to be wrong?) and am aware that, as a newbie, I should listen much and talk less 🙂

I was planning to lurk for a while – very little money and I’m sure many of you know THAT tune – but I saw a newbie posting something very fishy and was so outraged I paid my 5 bucks and came to post a warning. How dumb was I – not only was it spotted, but you guys obviously have a whole set of rituals and code-words to deal….I love the tuna and roasting references even if I’m only guessing what they mean 🙂

You could say we don’t want anything to do with women because we know them very well, all too well actually. We were former blue pillers burnt by both the state and tuna teaming together to send us to the grinder because in our time man is looked at as a dispensable object. Others like myself saw through the temptation and kept a safe distance and thus stayed financially healthy. There’s also those in mgtow who argue that by giving women the right to vote, and since they’re inherently leftist oriented, which not surprisingly is the party they overwhelmingly vote for, the west has had a collision course and is degrading culturally, economically, etc.

Either way, women are toxic and a source of a lot of problems in the lives of men so we try to warn those who aren’t aware of their true nature.

I totally hear you. My channel on Youtube started as an anti-theist channel but has now turned almost exclusively into anti-feminist – and to think I once thought of myself as one…jeez….
I’ve done my due diligence with regard to feminism and the blue pill analogy is not far from the truth. It’s a bit like religion in that at first you look at it and think that there must be something you are missing because nobody could be fooled by something so obviously bulls~~~. So you spend time and dig deep only to finally conclude that, yes, it really IS bulls~~~…..

contains extensive postings on atheism, science and anti-feminism. I was using the internet before the web was invented so I have never really bothered trying to hide my identity. I use the rule of mum on the internet (as distinct from rule of thumb). I try not to post anything I would be unhappy for my 78yr old mum to read. Since I am a teacher that is doubly necessary ?

Thanks to all for the warm welcome and special thanks to the kind soul who did me the financial favour – I really appreciate that as I’m currently trying to get some money saved after blowing my stack buying a flat and doing it up. I really should be sleeping but I’ve been touched by the warmth here and had to acknowledge it. I’ll write a more complete background after work – I just read the posting from desk raven that touched A chord and although I cannot promise answers I can hopefully provide an empathic dialogue ?
