    Hello mates,

My name is Phil and I’m living in Paris, France. I’m a french 37 years old man, working in financial business. Married, 2 childrens … and trapped.
I met my girldfriend when I was 24 and I must admit that she could have anything from me at that time 🙂 She lived at her parent’s home and I drove 15km twice a week to catch her and bring her at my home. It means I spent a lot of money for her (fuel, restaurant, food, nigh club, pub …) and I lost a lot of my time in the trafic jam for her. I didn’t want to marry her but I don’t know why I accepted 5 years later. All my friends were married and I though it was the “normal’ way for all men. Then, we had 2 little girls and my life has become almost a f~~~ing routine : before our weddings, she was selfish and she criticized me behind my back. She gave a part of her money to her parents (she’s asian, it’s her culture) and when we had words (quarrel), she though she was right. ALWAYS. I apologized many times because I didn’t want to fight even if I was right. I gave up. It was a mistake.

7 years after our weddings, I wanted to split … but I calculated that a divorce is REALLY expensive. She will take half of my money and I had to pay for my two daughters. In France, the family dpt of justice is full of female judges and for them, men are ALWAYS guilty. I read a lot of your posts on MGTOW + some french sites when men explained how to become a ‘real’ man. I mean : when I was young, my mother explained how I should be with women : a nice guy. And I don’t want to be like this anymore. I understood how are women and how they want to control men because of the feminist society.

Thanks to MGTOW, I realized that I have to change : I’m going on my own way. I’m still maried BUT I’m living for myself : sport, friends, my children. When she asks me for something, if I don’t want to do it, then I say : NO. And I don’t ARGUE. I stopped cleaning the house as she said that I was lazy. Incredible ! How dare she ? SHE is lazy. My house is a garbage because of her. I did the dishes, cleaned the ground, did the washing, repaired the car … and I spend more that 70h a week at my office. And she’s not happy. As she said : I’m a bad husband and a bad father.

Now, I don’t care about what she says : I’m going my own way. Thanks brothers.

Sorry for my english as it is not my native langage.
    Cheers

    Phil

Salut!

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Keymaster : you’re damn right my friend 🙂 Did you use Google traduction ? 😉

I think I’m a really good husband and a great father (ask to my 1rst daughter, she loves her daddy). But women are ALWAYS complaining and mine is never satisfied even if I spent all my time/money for her and for our house (cleaning etc). Even my father told me that I don’t have to clean this f~~~ing house myself but my wife is REALLY lazy and I like to live in a safe/clean place. Anyway, I stopped few months ago and I don’t care. I spend my time on my PS3, doing sport … hehehe, I must say that she’s really furious but I don’t argue and I don’t care about her mind 🙂

I graduated from high school fluent in French, but it’s rusty, so I confirmed with Google to be sure you would understand me. Turns out I wasn’t too far off. It was the least I could do since you made such a great effort with your intro English. After a few weeks in France, I would be thinking in French again.

Anyway, I used to used to care when a woman was displeased with me….
but now I consider any woman who isn’t pleased with me as insignificant.

This is the position you want to be in, and it rips all power away from them. In fact, as an experiment (and for research) we created a profile on the dating website “Plenty of Fish”. On the profile, we wrote and said whatever we wanted and didn’t give a s~~~ what women thought of it. A few hours later, some woman wrote “i liked your pictures but don’t like what you wrote your profile. You should change it.” It seems her majesty was not happy and didn’t approve.

I told her the same thing: “Any woman who isn’t pleased with me is insignificant.”

    Done.

WTF can she say? There was no reply. She thought I would be one of those men who she can say “I don’t like _________ ” to, and we would be stupid enough to change it. Imagine the arrogance.

“Any woman who isn’t pleased with me is insignificant.” is a magic phrase.
It is poetry – no matter what language you say it in.
It sounds even better in French.

As far as lazy girlfriends are concerned, I had a girlfriend who used to say she was “bored”….

“Well the bathroom floor is dirty. Clean that.”.
She never told me she was “bored” again.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Bonjour mon ami. I don’t know about the laws in France, but they have an expression here: “It’s cheaper to keep her”. I disagree. Alimony is 1.5 days for every 1 day you’re married. The sooner you get rid of her the less it will cost you. Lifetime alimony after 10 years. LIFETIME ALIMONY! Talk to a divorce attorney.

Hell yeah! Way to go. My Ex™ got a cleaner- following the lead of my TROLL MOTHER IN LAW ™ (who works part time and lives mostly alone for chrissake!).

Next- you really have to get those working hours DOWN man!
Your kids will LOVE you for it. Her turn to work the 70 hr weeks.
This sounds like “Coals to Castle” but SAY NO to DEBT. Cease being a debt slave.
The biggest eye opener is MGTOW can earn 30% of their potential income and still be above the poverty line.
Keep this attitude up, and ‘Awful wedded wife will be leaving you!

Afinogyny.. from the Greek Afino {to abandon/ to set down/ to leave /to allow/ to let } + Gyny {Women} MGHOW’s philosophy to not engage women without “hating them”. Narcorca =Narcissistic Orca typically spouting to a bathroom mirror taking an arms length selfie ; Wallinate describes post wall females whose SMV is terminally negligible New Years resolution "To not make women happy" . Instadestitue: yet another Neologism for Men that cohabit with women that decide to pull the handle of intervention orders.

    Hello mates,

Thanks for your replies. I’m glad to see that there are many men like me on Earth.

02tosin : indeed, I said NO to debt. My wife asked me many times to buy a house for our family. I have 2 flats in Paris
(bought many years ago, before meeting her) and she wants me to sell them then we could have more money in order to buy this house.

Of course, I said NO. We rent our house for the moment and it is ok for me.
Her brothers spent all their salary for a house far away from the city : they spent more than 1h to go to their office.
because their wives wanted the little garden, bla bla bla … like desperates housewives.

Total Lee : I agree. BUT in France, the husband has to pay for children and that’s all. if the wife is a housewive, then he has to pay something
but even if I earn more than my wife (twice), I don’t think i’ll have to pay something to her as she has a decent salary.

    Hi #Phil#
A big welcome to MGTOW. Nice to hear from somebody here in Europe. I am from Germany.
Well France and Germany had some not so funny interactions in the past e.g. in the beginnig of the 20ths Century, it is like a HATE – LOVE relationship, but we are the heart of Europe an the engines in economy and in industrial ways. 😉
Anyway, hope to hear something more from you.
When I read your introduction I think that your Situation is not the best but never viewless.
You do not have to apologize about your english, mine should be also better, lol.
Guess this platform gives us a chnace to improve it.
    CHEERS!!!

    Bonjour Philippe !

Sorry for the up 7 months later, but I felt your story resonates a lot to my own life. French (but moved to western Canada 8 mths ago), nurturing Dad, dealing with crazy, lazy spouse. The enlightenment for me though was her demanding divorce in the hope of getting kids, money, house and kicking me out of their lives. Not making recommendations to you here 🙂 It’s a journey I’m still in, but it’s fight back I didn’t regret. I only consider it might have been wise to initiate it, years ago.

MGTOW should be the norm nowadays for men. I indeed feel like Neo who just chose the red pill 🙂
