Hi everyone. Not really sure what would be a good introduction here, so I’ll just share some thoughts.

I’m in my 50s, live near the Rocky Mountains, love it here, though I’m starting to hate the politics in the state. I was reading on FB about a singles expo in Australia this last weekend, and how it was a bust. This was because there were not near enough men for their purposes to be worthwhile. I already know why there were no men – relationship has become too big a risk, and men keep hearing how they are not needed for anything anymore.

Thinking of this lead me come here and login. I created this account some years ago, so I am amazed it let me log in.

A housemate once told me “You know, I see you accomplishing a lot of good for yourself. You are gainfully employed, you’re a homeowner, you don’t smoke/drink/drugs, you’re active in your community..if I was a woman, I’d be talking to you.” I paid off my mortgage nine years ago and have no debts. I’ve never been married due to my own life issues, and with the way society is beating down on men these days, I see no point in engaging a woman for relationship. Why risk all I’ve accomplished to take a severe hit in a potential divorce?

Anyway, just my scattered thoughts for now.

Welcome 11th, I’m similar to you but widowed and well off. No debt- paid off house. Keep you financial state close to the vest. Too many will want to take what you have. Be extremely wary of young women bearing the gift of pussy. Hookers and Sugar Babies, stay away from them. It’s dangerous, expensive, and illegal. Single mothers, don’t even talk to them.
