I’ve been putting it together piece by piece based on research from my favorite movie Raiders. Once you get the Whip though all bets are off. I can’t tell you how many scratches in the walls I’ve made from cracking it indoors.

I’ll be patching that wall soon trust me

    COOL

Eventually I’ll make a video and splice in the music,

Btw the Whip is great for keeping Feminists and Manginas at Bay.

I can only imagine. Good work, keep it up!

A little mud will take care of those scratches if you’ve sheetrock.

That’s awesome. You know me well.
You know what they say… a hat finishes/makes the character.

And, an uncanny coincidence, because I listen to that Spielberg / Williams soundtrack frequently.

I have a friend since 1991 who is a bigger Indy fan than I ever was. He crawled through s~~~ to locate the original hat maker (in England) and BEGGED him to make an exact duplicate. He even had an “unveiling of the hat” party with 30 + guests when it arrived in a box.

He placed it in the middle of the living room floor, shined a spot light on the box like the sunlight peeking through the cave, and played the soundtrack while we had dinner. Then he opened the box for everyone. It was a big event.

Later, he did the same with the whip and had one made EXACTLY like the original. But first, he flew and visited Skywalker Ranch to photograph the original which was on display, AND he later had the jacket made for himself too.

When the jacket arrived, the maker had sewn the inner pocket onto the wrong side – by mistake, and he sent it back to have it fixed. He was a TRUE fan to the point obsession and collected every Indy movie poster in every language it was ever printed in.

20 years later , he sold everything (the whole collection) on Ebay and had an urge to purge that he couldn’t explain. But he still has the hat.

In a way, my avatar is a homage to him too.

He was the Indy fanatic, but I was more of a Star Wars / Han Solo fan. He was a good friend and still is. Over the years, whenever a Spielberg/Willians or Harrison Ford film came out (Like Jurrassic Park, The Fugitive, Schindler’s List etc.), we always made a point of seeing it – girlfriends not invited either. It was just a silly “bro” thing we did.

Hopefully no offense is taken, but it looks more like a young Kevin Spacey does Indiana Jones.

I was gonna say a young John Cusack. Near spitting image.

…. and I am impressed by the amount of floor space in that kitchen.
It’s like the size of a movie studio.

You have better vision than I do ya whippersnapper 🙂

Both are really talented actors IMHO.

David Morgan’s the guy for the whip. He makes real masterpieces but I didn’t like the tan whips, I like Dark Colors better. If you look closely in the movies, Harrison’s Indiana Jones Costume gets lighter as the series goes on.

I’ll probably go for the Alden Boots eventually, those things are very hardy.

A fellow Star Wars Fan? I’ve got that covered too Boss:

Though if you ask me about Episode 7, the Marey Sue Awakens, I’m just going to deny it’s existence 😛

Pfft you hurt my feewings, you owe me a Beer

None taken, I just shaved yesterday. Indy’s got more of a Scruff to him, and I was going to wait until my beard grew back. But once you get the Whip in your hand and hat on Hoo Boy. Like putting yourself behind the Wheel of a Lambourghini after being told not to touch. Or a Harley Sportster in my case.

Perfect size for Whacking each other with Lightsabers. In fact I had a couple buddies over the other night and we naturally started sparring. I like the sort of random skills like Swordfighting and Whip Wielding. They’re random but fun. I even took one of the vids and added in some John Williams music to it. I’d post it here but the Feminazis have turned Youtube into the Gestapo.
