Just found out about and joined the forums, looking forward to meeting you all.

I’m a recovering liberal, and i’ve  been on a long and slow journey to the point of finally swallowing the red pill, and it still may not all the way down, so give me a shout if you see me spouting any bulls~~~. Never had a rude awakening, just kind of came to after years of indoctrination by my family, school and society as a whole. Currently a student in Canada, and begging to leave.

I spend too much time in the workshop, so i’ll probably be posting some of the stuff i made  here if anyone is interested.

    see ya latter.

You can never spend too much time in the workshop. It one of the last ‘safe spaces’ for men.

DJK is right, tell us a little more about your journey here. It help others who may be reading on the perimeters.

Welcome and enjoy the decline ☺

Welcome! You have entered a wonderful world — the world where things are real and illusions dispelled.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

well. I grew up with a left of center family, and some way or another by the time i was 12 i was a full on communist preaching about fair trade, total equality and all that other lovey-dovey bulls~~~. As i got older i became very interested in history, which got me to take a closer look at what worked and what didn’t. seeing how much pain and suffering communism caused, i decided that it would make more sense to just become a socialist  (because those things are totally different). still kept preaching Feminism and socialism for a couple years longer.  It wasn’t until I took a grade 10 civics course that I started to see just things clearly. After understanding how taxes, stimulus, and welfare programs worked, and how totally stupid it is to tax those who can produce to help those that can’t do anything. After that I started questioning some of my other beliefs, and realized that most of them were also based on feelings rather than facts (things such as gun control, war on drugs, censorship and social justice). I also started browsing 4chan, which did a very good job of teaching me why getting offended is so important. At the time I was friends with real feminists  and despite my best efforts I couldn’t convince them that they were retarded. I started hanging out with new friends who understood reality.

I still at times suffer from feelings of “am I being to offensive?” and other things like that, so i still have a ways to go but i’m miles ahead of where I was.

    TL;DR

Dropped Marx for  Rand, left feelings for facts and found friends that like fun more than females.

Mapleman: If you’re head is on strait enough to come around from that kind of upbringing, you have good times ahead of you in life. After the “student in Canada” part anyway. That sounds like torture from my understanding.
