    Welcome brother.

I use to love watching the Red Green Show when I was growing up. I am a few years younger than you (late 30s), and was dumb enough to get married. Luckily, short marriage and no children before the ex monkey branched and f~~~ed off!!!

If I want to experience that “parental bond” I have young nephews. I plan to be around in their teens to counterbalance the programming that society has instilled in them.

Being a bachelor is great! The only lingering issues I have is finding good male friends to go fishing/hunting/hang with. This site has been a godsent.

Nephews are a great way to have the family experience.
My younger sister went through a divorce when her kids were in elementry school. I would take them camping in my travel trailer and had ny nephew stay with me lots of times. I used to take both my nephews and nieces skiing for years, my other sister has an older girl and boy about the same ages. I had a rent-a-family. This brought me really close to the kids. I think I would have made a great Dad if only….

    Hey Red,

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you had MGTOW instincts going a ways back. I think most of us on here have always had those, otherwise they’d still be chasing unicorns.

Have you ever seen a documentary on one of those tribes that live in the Amazon without contact with Western civilizatio?

They have 2 main lodges, one for women and children, the other one is sacred men-only space, no boys allowed either, just men.

I think MGTOW is like that and we as men are just finding something that has been long lost.

Amen. It’s a shame though that it’s getting harder and harder to find those spaces IRL. I just reinstated at my local Elks lodge after leaving my church, because it was too gynocentric. I was a member in the early 2000’s but left the area and let my membership lapse. Back then there were some gals, but it was definitely a male-dominated space.

When I came back, I noticed on the wall where they had pictures of all the Past Exalted Rulers, there were TWO females! There’s also a woman who is a left-wing libtard Rachel Maddow fan who has infiltrated the officer’s ranks.

The only place I can go to get away from she-devils now is chess club.

Quote from a former boss: "Don't get married...the fucking you get ain't worth the fucking you get."

I had always thought that I missed out on something. I think I was a bit of a late bloomer and had a rough time getting stable work for a few years after school. Once I got working, all I wanted to do is golf and ski. By the time I was “mature” enough to get settled down, all the low hanging fruit was picked and all that was left was rotten. My sister fixed me up with a single mom friend with a 2 year old little boy. She had just separated and melted down. I dodged that bullet. If she only had her act together, I know now that I would have taken that bait, that little boy was cute.

Any way I got lots of time to work on my golf swing. Nothing like finding the Zen of pure shot.

Btw, my idea of a perfect day is to get up, do a light workout, play 18 holes of golf, have lunch, ride the motorcycle to the beach for a swim, come home, burn some meat on the bbq and have several beer. Try doing that for a weeks vacation.

    Hello Red from down under.
Only recently discovered this place, got permission to post today.
Did you know that it is just as common for a man to have an aversion to intimacy as it is for a women?
I could not count the number of times I have been ruthlessly attacked by women for daring to say no to them.
