One more reason that women hate video games is that most of these games portray their lead females as good looking, dependable and self sufficient.

“Why would they hate video games for that?” One may ask.

Because they know that most men can and will put two and two together and ask themselves: “Why aren’t real women like that and why should I bother with them?”

Video Games make the slaves wonder why do they have to work to death and risk life and limb if women are as capable as they claim to be.

It’s subtle and slow but the females know that in the end the non existent 2D fantasies that exist in video games and other media are far superior than what they are willing to become and as such they know that the slaves will sooner or later just devote themselves to the 2D instead of their proper 3D taskmasters.

sounds like more competition for women, which is not what they desire. I’ve seen videos of women breaking their husband’s computer/xbox/playstation, and recording the video like they are so proud of the damage…….

imagine if men started throwing out all their shoes, clothing, makeup, and making a video.

I really can’t see money being much of an issue. It would be quite a bit of money spent on games before it had much of an impact on what is spent on her. The attention part is probably about 60% of the reason. It’s time not spent with her, on her, or maybe the kids. I can understand that to an extent for a married couple. If you are coming home from work and spending 4 hours in a game, none on her, that would be tough to take. I know I would not like it.

The way I see it, it’s no different than lacking attention from a woman who’s always on social media. In fact, that was the straw that broke the camel’s back with me and my ex. We were driving home and I was trying to talk with her and she would not look up from her phone. Irritated the hell out of me. Granted, slightly different situation since gaming usually doesn’t occur in the middle of a conversation, but it is similar.

I think there is another aspect to this that I don’t think has been stated yet. Gaming has no redeeming aspect to a woman, it isn’t something that she can brag about to her friends or arouse her in anyway. If man A spends 10 hours a week on gaming, while man B spends 10 hours a week restoring an old car, which one will be viewed better in the woman’s eyes? She can be proud and gloat about her man’s mechanical abilities, and may be a bit turned on by it. She will be ok with him going hunting and fishing, hanging out playing poker with the boys, going to a bike rally, and many other activities that don’t involve her, if it indirectly increases her ‘stock’. Gaming is completely useless to her, and therefore she cannot understand why you would spend any time on it.

And again, I can’t completely fault a woman for being turned off with gaming. Not so much for the gloating aspects, but because doing things that is admirable to your mate makes sense. I know that I would not want to be with someone who does nothing to improve or even maintain the characteristics that drew me to them in the first place.

In short, is there much difference between a man who plays video games 24/7 complaining about lack of dates, and way too heavy woman complaining about the same? I’d say the only difference is it would be highly unlikely for a man to complain.

It’s all about attention to Her. Play too many video games or use the computer too much recreationally, and you were deemed a ‘nerd’ in the 1990’s. I used to love playing video games in my 20’s — Super Nintendo, Playstation 1, Atari 7800 — in moderation. I really don’t play them nowadays, except a rare trip to the retro arcade.

The question I’d ask is, whether going out to clubs are getting stone-faced drunk is somehow a more valuable use of your time? Are 20-30 year old women engaged in so much more productive and noble activities in their free time than the men playing video games? No. They’re typing text messages on their phones, playing on Tinder and Fakebook, going clubbing and shopping.

I also see nothing wrong with older men playing games, any more than them playing sports. I think it is good to get out and do physical exercise, and I did a s~~~load of that in my 20’s too.

For the guy with a girlfriend/wife, the videogame means that she isn’t the center of his universe all the time. He is supposed to focus and think about her constantly.

In general case, there is the whole “manning up” thing, because OBVIOUSLY (as it is said) the videogame stuff is for boys, and “real men” get jobs, don’t have fun, and get responsibilities. They are to take their resources and do the whole family thing, and give women babies, like their biological drive says… or so it goes. For myself, that “manning up” thing is an excuse made so that individuals who do the whole married route don’t have time to do more significant things for humanity, because they are too distracted by survival stuff.

In the early days games were simple so unless you were super hardcore you didn’t spend a whole lot of time on them so women didn’t have to worry. Now with games being more complex, online play, DLC, in depth stories, etc people naturally want to play more and longer and thus women get less attention.

When I was dating my second girlfriend she had a fit because I was going to a LAN party. She said it was stupid and she was mad I mentioned I was going on facebook first instead of telling her in person lol. She didn’t want me to go play PC games with other PC gamers and, but you know what she did want me to do that Friday night? Go to a club with her friend and her friends boyfriend lol. I went to the LAN 🙂

Well, you’d think a relationship is about respecting eachother and their time alone with their hobbies because that how society paints it but that never happens. A woman wants to control everything you do with your free time, you got to respect their shallow and boring idea of fun time but she will want to decide how you will have fun because it’s in their nature is to be control freaks.
I’ve had more fun playing videogames than I had interacting with women so it’s not hard to choose. Sex is awesome but what about the rest of the time spent with her? Any game is more fun than that period of time before or after you have screwed them;
