I think people still have some sort of desperate hope to find someone for (insert ur desire in opposit sex here) and lack of alternatives. I mean, if u have alternatives which isnt Online dating, its kinda hard to fully give up ur only way to get laid. At least that was my reason to come back from time to time again. Then i found PUA and i deleted all the dating sites account. But came back from time to time. Since im now MGTOW, i use nothing then porn haha.

Just stop online dating man I did that s~~~ for 7 years and here I am still with nothing, sure you get sex, but that is about it and most of the time you are the one wasting your resources.
