Here is a thing for generic anti-war protesters to protest: Death

I suggest that anti-war protesters, who like to go out, beat drums, sing “give peace a chance” and hold up signs saying War sucks, to make it go more general, and that is to protest death.

There is a fundamental folly in protesting war. There are things that happen worse than war out there. War can also destroy bad systems, and take down tyrants. I am not sure anyone who thinks that war should be the first option, but it is what happens when other options run out.

Anyone have any freakin idea what anti-war protesters, who just go out and protest war, are trying to protest? I see protesting a particular war, but just any war?

Maybe it is the whole illumination fallacy I see among activists. Human beings tend to operate under a presumption that knowing something alone means change, and it doesn’t. I am reminder of the lyrics to smoking in the boy’s room: “Teacher don’t you fill me up with your rules
Everybody knows that smokin’ ain’t allowed in school”.

Anyhow, this is a generic political post. I am just posting my thoughts here. Feel free to reply or not, or ignore. It is my take on going my own way, and just reminded of some anti-war protesters I saw a few months ago, and how I thought how stupid they were doing that.

I agree with carnage for two reasons.
1. life is a screwed up deal with little to no rewards.
2 death has found me back in 1999, and this rebirth
is a nice second chance, I may be old but I know better than work for the benefit.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
