The mother in that article sounds like a variation on “Munchausen syndrome by proxy.”

From Wikipedia:

In Munchausen syndrome by proxy, an adult caregiver makes a child or elderly person appear mentally or physically ill or impaired by either fabricating symptoms or actually causing harm to the child or elderly person to gain the attention of medical providers and others. To perpetuate the medical relationship, the caregiver systematically misrepresents symptoms, fabricates signs, manipulates laboratory tests, or even purposely harms the child (e.g. by poisoning, suffocation, infection, physical injury). Studies have shown a mortality rate of between 6% and 10% of MSbP victims, making it perhaps the most lethal form of abuse.

We are supposed to believe all women about being raped but we expect our doctors to ignore the things a mother is telling you about their children.

Then you do tests to confirm a diagnosis. She refused. You can’t make a pt. take a test so you go by the info you have…from the mother. And, she’s studying med books and lying for cash. How do you fight that?

At the end is:

After reading this example of cognative dissonance I was sure it was written by a women.

To my shock and dismay it was written by a man. Men are being inculcated to think like women and the result is sobering.

My Ex exactly right there!! Couple of p~~~ poor attempts at jobs that lasted 2 months at a time at the most.then the alcohol and the f~~~book kicked in…..alcohol and too much time on her hands made for a cheating slut.

Women just want to be taken care of at any cost. Spraying out kids to trap men, divorcing men so they can cash out and keep the kids, or lying to the government to get money.

Something in their brain makes them so hell bent on finding an entity that will cradle them like babies so they don’t have to deal with the scary world.

Here’s a relevant true story from a recent “Dear Abby” column:

Wife wanted children, but husband didn’t want children. So wife told husband that she couldn’t have children. So across the years they had three “surprise” children. Husband finally wised up and got a vasectomy. But wife “desperately” wants more kids. So she’s planning to visit a sperm bank behind the husband’s back. She asks Dear Abby’s opinion.
