I am a woman in the #metoo movement and I was sexually abused. I understand how his comments can be taken out of context, but I have to agree with Henry. The careers have ended for a lot of famous men because of “allegations” of misconduct. In today’s world, all a woman has to do is say something occurred. Then, that man is fired from his job without due process, and treated like a criminal, end of story. I would be scared too. It makes me sad for my sons who are growing up in this world. It is all well and good to say, don’t rape someone and you won’t be labeled a rapist, but the reality is, it just needs to be suggested that it occurred to ruin a man’s life.
