How is everyone? I was getting harrassed a bit earlier for not introducing myself, so here it goes.

I’m 24 y.o. and live in Europe. Still with my parents but moving out soon. My experience with women has been mostly one night stands, except for a short relationship I had in high school.

But I’m a fairly reasonable guy, and I can learn from other people’s mistakes. So I see no reason to get in longterm relationships – ever. Being a loner and a minimalist who could basically live like a monk in a monastery (hence the profile photo), I have zero interest of working overtime for some princess and the offspring she’d inevitably desire. I studied history but quit this year, because it was a fat waste of time with little job prospects. Started working online afterwards as a freelance writer and I’m still pursuing it with decent success. Working few hours a day and making decent money, moving away from parents and living a minimalist, disciplined lifestyle with very little expenses is my goal.

Self-development goals at the moment:

– master the Wim Hof Method
– read tons of awesome literature
– make more money
– learn more about finances
– abstain from cumming in a vagina

That’s basically it. I’ve joined this forum about a year ago but didn’t post anything. I tend to get saturated with an idea and then hop unto something else. But I’ve lately truly realized the benefits of being MGTOW and it’s diminished by desire to waste time with women and mindless socializing in general. I like to discuss ideas, and that’s why I’m on this forum, to talk with people who perhaps have more experience than myself.

So thanks for reading and I hope we have interesting convos in the future.

So were the questions for an article you are writing? We have other guys that write articles and come post them before publishing to see if there is anything they missed. My first thought when I saw your second thread was you were writing an article or a term paper. Just saying.

Thanks for the reply! I started that thread due to a feeling of curiosity. I didn’t write any articles on MGTOW so far. But I am thinking about starting a Youtube channel just for the fun of it. Perhaps MGTOW combined with self-development stuff.

You sound like a rational and disciplined individual. I believe your aptitude toward solitude and monk lifestyle is very compatible to mgtow lifestyle if you decide to forgo chasing women altogether.

It’s not a very popular belief but I’d say while you are working toward self-improvement try to go without masturbation for a month and see if you have any positive improvements in your mood.

If nothing you could at the very least say you can refrain from temptations – a good tool for a monk IMO.

Thanks man! I see what you’re saying about masturbation. I’ve been on and off NoFap for a number of years, so I know all the benefits. My longest streak was nothing special though, 30+ days.

Benefits: tons of energy and motivation to go out and socialize
Downsides: can’t focus on anything productive, horny 24-7

What I’ve realized is that the benefits of NoFap are closely correlated with the way you breathe. When you cum your breathing rythme changes, which causes anxiety, social awkwardness etc. By meditating regularly, doing cold showers and especially doing the Wim Hof breathing method I am able to minimize the negative effects of PMO.

Right on. That’s exactly why working online as a freelancer is awesome. You get to work as much as you need, and it turns out you can live reasonably well with typing some crap for a few hours in your underwear. It’s that simple! But mind you, I live in a country that has a currency that’s much weaker than the USD. If I lived in the US I’d have to work far more. Solution = move to Eastern Europe or Thailand/Vietnam and you’re good to go.
