As an introduction let me say I’m a 60+ retired guy who wishes he had seen and heard all of this 50 years ago. Raised by a father who traveled and a broken and abusive mother, I was prepped and conditioned to be a service mule to abusive, exploitive women whom I believed I was unworthy of and would do anything to please.
The world I was raised in set the stereotype family as the man who worked his whole life to support a stay at home mother and spoiled kids only to die early and have his life insurance and life savings go to his widow as she went on cruises and traveled the world. Men’s duty to society was to die in wars or in the fields working so that women could enjoy lives of leisure: men were expendable.
No surprise that I was dumped by women when I had exhausted my utility and all the while I was pursuing them, they were banging alphas that treated them like crap. My conditioning led me to pursue and marry a spoiled child who wanted what SHE wanted and would do anything to get it. She lied about taking birth control and got pregnant. She lied about money and had many maxed out secret credit cards. She got lazier and fatter.
But since a divorce would cost me my home and my retirement; I’m trapped – in a prison created by my social conditioning and my naiveté.
My recourse is to warn you young men of the inherent dangers of having a dick; it can destroy you!
Recently I chose to seek counseling and went to a shrink. He made me dig into places I didn’t want to
acknowledge and see a self I had never seen. I found out that I wasn’t a piece of s~~~: in fact I finally understood that spending 30 years as a professional pilot and years as an IT professional and finally realizing that I have NEVER failed at ANYTHING, EVER; I deserved better than what I had accepted for myself my whole life.
You do too! You don’t have to make yourself worthy of a woman, the reverse is the case. A woman is about as useful to you as the hood ornament is to your car, no functionality: just show. But unlike the hood ornament, a woman won’t become a classic, only a rusty, dented relic.

Read what is here and do these things:
    1. Be your best you-man – not for anyone else but you. Get educated or skilled and gain self discipline. You deserve to be healthy, well kept and attractive. Get in shape. Learn to be strong, self reliant and rugged. Camp, hunt, fish, shoot. Learn leadership. Take pride in yourself. Realize YOUR dreams, not someone elses.
    2. Be frugal – save, invest and prepare to be able to retire to do and have the nice things you deserve.
    3. Treat women like snakes – some are poisonous, some are not. You can’t always tell the difference, so treat them all like they are and stay away from them. They don’t wear badges saying “Good Bitch” or “Bad Bitch” – and even if they did, they would lie. Remember their game: to control, exploit and manipulate men; exhaust them of their resources and then move on (kind of like locusts).
    4. Support your Bro’s – to win the battle we have to stick together. A house divided cannot stand. Exclude manginas and white knights from your social circles – minimize them and let them know you think they are “sub-masculine”. Send them to the women’s tent so they can learn to knit baby booties and get in sync with their periods.
    5. Be resolute – failure is not an option. Remember all those lessons like Samson and Delilah where great men have been destroyed by one smelly t~~~. It’s sad to think that the mere presence of a female can turn men against each other or turn them in to slobbering fools; and she relishes watching that happen – watching manhood crumble at her feet.

I’ll have more later, be well.

    welcome sir!
you wisdom is very valuable. thanks for sharing your story

i’m glad you found the path to freedom

enjoy the forums and the website.

    2. Be frugal – save, invest and prepare to be able to retire to do and have the nice things you deserve.

i agree with this 100%. I am always looking for ideas to reduce my expenses without sacrificing too much of my quality of life.

Support your Bro’s – to win the battle we have to stick together. A house divided cannot stand. Exclude manginas and white knights from your social circles

the only issue is, if i exclude manginas and white knights, i don’t really have any friends left.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

    Welcome home RASman.
I’m standing with Tower in the ovation. Well written intro, and I hope those younger men can take a lesson from your experience.

Remember all those lessons like Samson and Delilah where great men have been destroyed by one smelly t~~~.

YES. Don’t forget Abraham. If he had said, “NO, Sarah. I will not sleep with your maid, Hagar.” We would not have Islam in it’s current state. And Adam, himself. “NO, Eve. I won’t take that fruit. I’m sorry you did, and I wish you well, but I’m going my own way.” Well, you get the picture.

When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.

I’m in that ovation as well! It’s great to have a lot of older men here at the forums as well.

I learn a great deal from life lessons older MGTOW here have learned over their years.

Welcome, welcome, welcome. We need more people like you around MGTOW. We need more voices of wisdom and the kindness to, among other things, share their experiences.

    RASman,
Welcome. I was just arguing with two family women about old people. They appear to think old people are ready to die, and worth less than young people. They SAY that when a young person dies the pain is greater, because the old person had his life anyway…

I TOTALLY DISAGREE. Its is a crazy society when you discard the experienced people and value only the inexperienced. Everybody is valuable, but some people have more value.

We need the wise words people like you. A very warm welcome indeed.
