Hello Brothers… I’m writing from the fortress of solitude…a lot of kindred spirits here-I can tell. F~~~ all the naysayers…he who dies with the most s~~~ wins! I listen to old farty music ( from the year zero ac to 1600 or so…) I have many diesel burning ‘appliances’ shall we say…and lots of other nifty stuff. I thought I was going weird.., and then I found this parallel universe. It’s not a coincidence… it’s convergence. One of my pieces in Avatar. Bv206… made in Sweden… mercedes 6 cylinder turbo motor… holds 17 people…amphibious… 55 kph on land and snow…about 5kph in water… not that fast.., paddles with its 4 tracks. No point having cool s~~~ if you can’t share it! More… later! Where’s my pills…?

We used those in the Canadian Forces. Ours was painted white. It’s the ultimate sled for Arctic Red-Necks…

Canadian Special forces to get new vehicles.

Thanks for the support brothers! Yes in Canadian military I think they called them MOSV and in USA SUSV. If I could just figger out how to get it down the snowmobile trail.

I’ve always wanted one of those tracked Universal Carriers. In Canada they were often called a ‘Bren Gun Carrier’.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Carrier

They were powered by the Ford Flat-Head V8. What’s not to love about that???

Yes, I’ve heard of the Bren gun carriers. That would be cool. And thanks for the pills!

I dunno, We called them BV206’s from the time I first saw them in the ’80’s until I retired in ’06.
LOSV (Light Over Snow Vehicle)= snowmobile so I guess
MOSV (Medium Over Snow Vehicle) = BV206

Both are still better for rapid movement that Snow Shoes Mk1 and the toboggan.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
