I am a 55 y/o man , became red pill influenced about a year ago, I am a musician, recording artist, a somewhat music video producer, song writer, producer and a MGTOW conesoure , I probaly messed up that last word lol. But I have had the unfortunate experience of two marriages, two long term relationships, but of course they , all of them have lead to catastrophic failures.
I am ashamed of this fact that it has been my regrettable experiences that have led me to this place, I wish I had learned abut this type of thinking many many moons ago.
When my first wife went loopy , i should’ve known better than to stay with her for the following tumultuous 13 years and the two kids later. but I like every other man who has been duped, became just that, “duped”. But like the dog that keeps running back to its own vomit to consume it , that and there i was. No matter how insulted, no matter how emotionally,physicaly, and verbally bludgeoned I was by her, I would always exscuse “her” and her behavior. My hope in participating in this discussion and forum is only this , that young men , and men who have become victims at the expense of their so called loved ones aggressions , will indeed find that in my truths and through out the telling of my experiences here they will not have to endure anything like i have at the hands of abusive women. you can ask of me any question and I will be absolutely honest with you in and because of my experiences. My hope is to help, help those who are deserving of that help, and I know that any man who ventures into this place is in need of some kind of help. Maybe just understanding, or giving encouraging help you will find yourself moving in a more possitive direction, not only as your own man but in your own educated mind, thus you become your own man going your own way. thank you sincerely: Steve

Anyway, I’m 60 and survived two bad marriages as well. I liked the “dog returning to its vomit” metaphor. In my case, both my exes were narcissists, and the second was worse than the first. You would think I would have learned from the first, but I guess I just liked the type. In a way all women are narcissists, at least in the sense that they all expect to be adored and catered to by the men around them. So maybe it just comes with the territory.

Hello Steve! Im pretty new here myself, and going through a f~~~ load of bulls~~~. Luckily I found this site within 24 hrs of s~~~ hittin the fan, because it has been something of a saving grace for me. Hope you prosper and find solace friend!

On a separate note, if you ever want to share some of your musical wisdom with a rank amateur, I would be honored. Been trying to do some solo recording/song writing myself but It hasn’t been going well. Used to jam in some dead-end bands back in the day, but my old floppy-titted warden put an end to that.
