Hello from Sith'ville

Long time lurker and took the plunge. No I don’t do media stuff so this is a first. Generally considered Internet as a vapid space for dialog. Present company gets a pass because you are those that have lived through it.

Anyway, my story is a bit different because my dad was a red pill.

He told me a story about Adam and Eve. Only, there wasn’t an apple or a snake. Adam was made in the image of good and Eve was made in the image of evil. The forbidden fruit was between Eve’s legs.

My father told me he wasn’t the God, but he was a God. And he lived it. My mother thought he was at least a saint.

He told me many more things and then had me read the Bible and other books from this perspective. Then we moved on to his philosophical hero, Ayn Rand.

I was so fortunate to have known him and to be with him during my divorce while he was in hospice care with a few months to live.

I went on about my crazy ex and rambled about how screwed up my life was. Being a grade “A” whiney ass. Then came his deep no nonsense voice, “boy, snap out of it. No one gives a s~~~ about what your going through. I’m going to be dead in a few months and I have more to look forward to than you do…” (or something to that effect) I can’t remember all the crap he told me but it was just between us boys. No evil allowed, as he would say.

Thanks for reading my intro drivel. Hope to share more with the passing of time. But,for now, I’ve had all I can take of you guys.

Thanks Captain. Yes my father did but I must regress so it is in context.

I am the oldest and have 6 brothers and 1 sister. Our sister is the youngest and none of us “boys” have anything to do with her. (Another story)

My dad had a philosophy that had been handed down father to son thru time. It states that a man’s aura, nature, whatever is godly. A woman’s is devilish. Each moves on their spectrum of good to bad behavior in their daily actions. From his perspective the only reason to interact was to procreate.

When I was a teenager girls started sniffing around, etc. My father sat me down for the birds and the bees talk. He told me the rule. Make your decisions and decide your path. If you decide to ignore girls then you and me will have no problems. If you decide your a man and procreate without the ability to support, etc then I must deal with you.

Your pregnant woman will live with us and share your bedroom with your brothers. When the baby arrives you will have a few months to procreate another. I will stand over your bed. This will go on for ten years or until you can support them.

Fast forward many years to my late 20’s when I was to get married. I lived on my own and made my decision. My father supplied the booze at the wedding. They had a good time.
