I have been lurking for a few months, and after waiting for my membership to be approved I’m happy to have this chance to write this introduction.

Like many of you, I have had indications most all my life that all was not right between women and men. In the last 10 years I have really learned quite a bit, and this year I saw the Red Pill movie and it really woke me up. Pushed me over the edge.

A short time later I started reading this web site.

The Red Pill went down smoothly. It didn’t taste bitter as it has to some of you. But has left me with some long term after effects. Trying to put words to those feelings: profound disappointment, sadness, so sorry things turned out the way they did in our society. It is not good for us as men to live like this.

I’m in my early 50s, divorced, with two children (one nearly 18 and the other 22).

I greatly appreciate the opportunity to spend time and learn on this site. I’d also like to contribute in my own way as well. I have learned many lessons at the University Of Life, School of Hard Knocks. Especially the interactions with women.

By my age you can see that I grew up during a time of major cultural/social/sexual upheaval. I have had a front row seat.

I am hard pressed to disagree with any part of the MGTOW system. The more I learn the more I realize how much it reflects my lifetime of experiences. Reading the glossary made me giddy. And a little sad, because for every term I could think of life experiences that illustrate the point.

I have a very open mind, and some things I’ve come across over the years are:

    • “ladder theory”
    • The Divorce Corp documentary
    • The Red Pill documentary
    • Men’s Rights
    • Father’s Rights
    • Paul Elam videos on YouTube
    • California family law (court, mediation, attorneys, spousal/child support)

After getting divorced about 15 years ago, I took a couple of years to get my life stabilized (and take care of my kids). I did quite a bit of dating (can you imagine finding yourself suddenly single at the dawn of online dating?), and have had 3 serious long term relationships. The last one ended about 6 months ago and I think I might be done. Getting on the Red Pill program and doing lots of reasearch is pointing me toward that conclusion. As you say, “AWALT”.

I’ve mostly been reading the Introductions forum, and I’m looking forward to branching out to the other ones.

I am so grateful to join up with this community of like minded men. So much of what we discuss is bad news. The bitterness of the pill. Difficult relationships, divorce, the imbalance of the legal system that tilts the field in favor of women. All serious stuff. But the brotherhood here really lightens my soul.

I’m so glad to get to know you. Thank you for sharing your stories. I have many of my own to share. I hope you benefit hearing mine as much as I have from reading yours.

FUN FACT: I’ve personally met Warren Farrell. Forgot all about him until I saw him in the Red Pill movie. In 1994 my then wife was working for him doing some light clerical/administrative work; I was called into service to hook up his new laser printer.

Welcome beherenow, this site should help you tremendously.

Note: By the way mgtow.com isn’t a system nor a movement.

I am hard pressed to disagree with any part of the MGTOW system.

Welcome brother, glad to have you here.

This site made me understand that my experiences were not unique. All Women are Like that. Sad but true.

    Welcome BHN,

I look forward to reading your posts and comments in the Forums.

And we share a lot in common.

However, after my divorce, I was still chasing “Unicorns.” So, there were a lot of Red Pills until I learned AWALT.

Some of my Red Pills had to do with being falsely accused by too many women and their degenerate Pals. Here is one of my Red Pill descriptions that I posted last year:

Your feedback in that Post is appreciated.

I am now reading “The Screwtape Letters,” by C.S. Lewis, once again but this time with MGTOW eyes. It is one of my favorite books and it still makes me laugh out loud.

What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
