Welp, I’ve given up on finding love in this lifetime. I’m a decent catch, too. I have a doctorate, my house is paid off, I’m still young. Yet I’m too proud to bow to anyone, and as such any attempt at relationships will be fraught with anguish.
So what to do now? Well, I aspire to live my single life in the most dignified way possible. Live in peace with my neighbors, be seen as trustworthy, respect the law, take care of myself. It is true that many single men are trouble makers, and the authoritarians would surely like to establish “Bachelor codes” like those of brutal Islamist regimes, to ban us from parks and museums, to “chase the pigs into the sea.” This is America, and America is all about freedom, but even here a reactionary gang could seize power and persecute us.
So our goal should be to make single men respectable. Not just for us, but for future generations of misfits who walk away from the brutal screech of matriarchal oppression. Some of the rhetoric here is so hostile and dangerous that it makes me wonder if intelligence agencies are intentionally infiltrating to discredit us. I can easily imagine the media declaring some obese neckbeard the spokesman for the movement, and parading him on the airwaves calling for legalized wife beating, mandatory public nudity, and to repeal the 19th Amendment. Then, mobs will gather at our doors with torches and pitchforks, they will.
We form better, stronger organizations. We collaborate and start businesses, peer mentoring to help each other with our problems, form social cliques of MGTOWs in our local communities. Like the noble homosexual, we must quietly infiltrate and monitor the normals to make sure their hostility doesn’t go overboard. It’s realistic to worry about brutal crackdowns in the near future, so it’s wise to avoid painting a target on your chest. By working together, we can create a future where a man can say “nah, I don’t want to date anyone” without terror chills rippling through the community. “Well, good sir, that’s your choice,” they’ll say instead, and we’ll enjoy the Independence Day fireworks together, pass the hot dogs, join hands and sing together, the human family at peace.
Welcome to the site. I also agree it is a good idea to be the best representatives of single men that we can be. I don’t have any interest in joining anything besides this site, and I’m not sure singles will ever be as respected as married folk, but if the way I live helps show another man out there that he doesn’t need to get married and can be happy, than I will consider my efforts a success.
Not every mgtow is going to be interested in doing that, but that’s okay. Each has their own way. We just have to do the best we can.
Welcome, brother. We’re free to live our lives as we see fit – no matter what society says. I’ve been married twice have a grown child. I can tell you that the time to focus on yourself should not be a transient phase, but rather a lifelong endeavor.
To me, MGTOW is not about hating women, but rather freeing ourselves as men from enslavement in a society that is increasing hostile to men. This is America, and America is all about freedom,
First, welcome to the machine. Centuries worth of wisdom on these pages.
Second, hate to p~~~ on your parade, but America lost it’s last sibilance of freedom 100 years ago, when it passed and ratified the 19th amendment to our beloved Constitution – allowing non tax payers a voice in how tax monies get spent. All but guaranteeing eventual despotism.
When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.

Anonymous42What we lack in respect we make up in character!
hello and welcome !
no one here hates women.
we see them for what they are and nothing more.
many men have been victims of a gynocentric system and are angry.
this is where it get’s let out.
we have nothing to be afraid of because we do nothing wrong .
read the lyrics brother-man..
this speaks for me..
Anonymous54I ride a bike. My pipes are loud. I’m not afraid to die. Welcome.
Thank you all for your kind words of welcome. You seem like a good bunch.
Welcome mate.
I fill my time with wanderlust. Just go off and visit places I’ve never been, hike or bike for weeks at a time. Appear out of the mists to rescue cats from trees, rappel down crevices to carry out fallen hikers, even led a bunch of lost ex-slaves out of the Sinai Desert a few years back.
Typical day in the life of a MAN.
Always plenty of stuff to do mate. Good luck.
