I was decided to spend my saturday and sunday night with playing games that i bought in Stea* application, the name is Hearts of Iron 4, as i like a historical strategy games.
I played this game for about a month, in every sunday and sometimes in saturday, so it takes me that long until i reach my nuclear capability and doing my expansion plan. I am playing as Japan.
So, i finally manage to conquer Nationalist China, i added one more puppet state in my Empire, and i decided that it is time to take British India, to make this plan going smoothly, i take British Bhutan and made a pact with Tibet and Nepal as they are going into an Axis tendency well enough, and they accept it, all is going well.
My nuclear research already done, and this time, i make about 10 atomic bombs, doing some scouting on British India soil, turns out some of their main city is heavily guarded, but the most heavily guarded is Delhi, they put about 10-20 land regiment on there, but they have weak air force, so this is where i will strike, aiming for air superiority then release the first atomic bomb on this game history.
The attack begin with 5 fighters squadron of my Japanese Imperial Air Force, i won the battle, i gain air superiority, and here comes my air bomber squadron, unleashing the atomic bomb in Delhi.
Wiped out British India land regiments on Delhi on single attack, but something is strange, i am sure that the population of Delhi is about 8 million people, but it remains the same. I tried once more, the population remains the same, so i am not wrong, the atomic bombs only destroy the land regiments and only manage to deal half of the infrastructure as it’s strange enough that their Anti Air Defense still remain half, and the population is untouched.
So, here i am, thinking of giving some feedback to improve the game, going straight to the Parad*x Forum and posting what i had in mind of the possibilities of improving the game so it will be more interesting.
I wrote about what things can be done in order to help HoI 4 can be a better game, including atomic bombs that decimating the population numbers, chemical warfare such as chemical bombs, increase the atomic bombs power to infrastructure, and taxing systems because on this game, the treasury gained with good production, but no taxing systems.
What did i get in reponse? i was banned FOREVER from the forum. What is the reason? The moderator later sent an email to me as i was banned and said that ‘i am advocating civilian genocide and the using of chemical warfare, therefore that’s what they categorized as HATE SPEECH’, and even tell me that there is no refund (i never said anything about refund, because it’s my first forum post, and was banned forever afterwards).
I was shocked in awe, so i decided to look at Parad*x Interact*ve on google, turns out it is a Swedish game publisher : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradox_Interactive (Source)
Then i suddenly remember the same thing happened, about 3 years ago. This time the name of the game is Supr*me Rul*r 2020 : Gold Edition.
The same thing happened to me as i give some details about what can improve this game better, like the ability to destroy roads, enhancing the capability of AI with naval attack and marine’s landing (in this game, the AI is very bad at doing naval attacks, so basically, if i play a nation like UK, Japan, it will be almost impossible for the AI to conquer the homeland as they are rarely doing naval attack and marine landing), and again, chemical warfare, (in this game, nukes and artillery decimating the population), and more combination of AI’s leadership name (The generated name is almost always the same for AI’s leader of the country), got banned also, also with advocating chemical wars, and being stupid for the ability to destroying the road is unlogical, so they considered me as HATE MONGER and TROLL.
So, i decided to look at the game and turns out Batt*le Go*t collaborating with Parad*x Interact*ve in this game, again, the same game company.
As for the review, the game itself is good, i like it, i give it 8,8/10.
But because of the level of disrespect they given me, i decided to stop buying their products anymore.
