I was married to a doc. She never knew where all the money went. We kept our accounts separate. I gave her a budget and fixed things for her, but she went back to her old ways after a year or so. It’s not what you make, it’s what you keep!

Hey, I wish this young man the best but his chances are not good in the long run. I have recently discovered that those I thought were happily married for decades, were not so happy. Most try to put forth a fake image of being happy but I am starting to see through it. I’m not saying that every couple celebrating their 50th anniversary is miserable but so far, that is all I have seen.

TADTS. It’s common practice and I’ve heard it happen listening when a married couple thought no one was there.
