Those women again are looking for men with resources and assume that a guy living in that situation has few assets or little money.

Yes. They want a Man to buy her a house, and then he can live in HER basement.
I wouldn’t mind having a house, but I’d have to build a wall around it with booby traps to keep potential gold diggers away.
One can never be too safe.
On topic though, I’ve been called “childish” because I am c~~~/child free. Even though I live on my own and am entirely responsible for my own survival (also debt-free).
Like a previous member said, typical shaming language and projection.

F~~~ them. You’re being responsible. Being childish is getting your girlfriend pregnant several times and expecting your society to pay taxes for your lack of ambition.
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
As an interesting aside, we used to have a large Filipino family that lived across the street. I mean at least 20 members, cousins, older relatives, etc.
Any way, they would all live together in one house, pool their financial resources and pay off the house super quick, move on to another house and do the same thing.
Although I could never do it, those people were more interested in financial freedom than a life time of debt and trying to ‘keep up with the Joneses’.
The greatest tragedy in life is to spend your whole life fishing only to discover that it was not fish you were after. - Henry David Thoreau

Anonymous3I feel Romulus nailed this topic, for myself,as a child I lived in a house with Mom & Dad, Grandfather & Grandmother & my grandfather’s brother from the Old Country.
Today I live alone & debt free.
As far as living with Mom, nobody could live with that woman as it turned out.
Good beginnings often times do not end well.
A very good topic & excellent thread.
MGTOWPersonally me, I try to spend as many time with the mom as I can. One day I’ll open the door of her apartment and only silence meet me on the threshold. When you are young you don’t understand it. You dream you try to live separately from your parent(s). But now I can say this is foolish. Because most of our lifetime we are going to live without them. Without most significant people in the world. So if someone calls you a basement dweller, you just need to know this person still is a teen and treat it according to its intellectual age.
Happiness for all and let no one be forgotten ("Roadside picnic", Arkady and Boris Strugatsky)
C~~~s need a bailout plan, cant get one if he lives with parents. Bummer for them.
….and by the way if you lived in apartment she’ll shame you for not owning a house.
Shit Tested, Cunt Approved.

Exactly. I do my part in this society even though it’s against me and my fellow brothers. Definitely not childish.
