Have you guys noticed something unique to men lately? I’ve been scanning and reviewing posts over the lat month or so and I discovered something.

Most of us, if not all of us in some way or another build/make/create things. Whether it is guns (like me), or cars, or mining (Tattodave) or wood working, or electrical engineering (Gargamel), or game/software design, writing, composing music, teaching—whatever, all of us seem to have an innate desire and ability to “build” and create something that adds value to us and others.

Now it was painful but I took one for the team and ghosted some of the female/feminista sites. And would you want to guess what I NEVER see discussed? Exactly none of them build or create anything of added value…nothing.

Gentleman sometimes the game pieces on the world need to step back and take a look at the board from 30K feet instead of 3 feet. the evidence is in and its conclusive if it were not for us mankind would still be living in trees with the monkeys.

This will seem off topic, but it’s not. Work with me for a sec….

I was within earshot of a woman who was eating ice cream, and she was gushing on about it. “OMG this ice cream is AMMAAAZING!”.

“AMAZING”.

I keep hearing women using that word to describe petty, temporary, meaningless & disposable s~~~.

• “That movie / these seats are AMAZING”.
• “That restaurant/meal was AMAZING”.
• “These cookies are AMAZING”.

But never once in my travels have I heard a woman say “You know, it’s f~~~ing AMAZING what men have done”.

• How hard her husband works is never “AMAZING”.
• Air travel is never AMAZING.
• The boyfriend or father of her kid is never AMAZING.
• Free wifi in a coffee shop is never “AMAZING”.
• What you can accomplish on a computer is never “AMAZING”.

She bitches about him being a workaholic though. She complains when the flight is delayed 30 minutes. Taking four hours to respond to her text makes you an “asshole” though. She will tell you that you spend too much time on the computer and need to get a life….. as she gazes into her phone all day and can’t even pry her eyes or attention away from it long enough to notice the world around her.

I think it’s pretty f~~~ing AMAZING that a man installed her toilet and running water so she never has to squat over a cold hole in the dark and wipe her crack with some dried leaves.

I’ve noticed allot of s~~~, that’s why I keep my head down and my guard up! Even when I’m sleeping! It’s that bad!

This is what I see is one difference between men and women and you pointed it out: men are builders and makers while women are all talkers.

Most white collar jobs just write TPS reports nobody will even read.

Shuffle papers, approve things someone else has already approved and someone else at a higher level will approve again.

Now that I think about sir, you are totally on to a big something here….Pete and KM hit outta the park as always…Continuing in the thought though, I never have seen a woman create anything or build anything ever in my life….Yet I have built so many things, Computer desks from scratch, Book Shelves, Bathroom shelves, I love working with wood, an actual favorite past time for me, wish I had more wood tools to work with….Computer networks, I helped build a 400 meter data hall, one of largest at the time, and we built it green, also a first of it’s kind…The data hall was AMAZING 🙂 Hell, I am working on a super computer project out of the spare parts I have been accumulating over the past ten years or so…NOW THAT WILL BE AMAZING if I can get it going…I have a buddy in OKC, he and his father built chopper bikes from the frame all the way out, and let me tell ya gents, I understand not everyone is into bikes, but these are some of the most beautiful vehicles on two wheels I have ever seen in my life…They put their hearts and souls into their work, and dad-gum does it ever show…AMAZING, if you will….I think men are just born wanting, striving, craving, yearning, and even dreaming to build, create, and share their work with the world…Woman are born wanting, craving, yearning, striving, to consume as much of everything they possibly can…but as always gents, just my two pennies here…

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....

Forgive me JJ I had you in mind with my opening paragraph and somehow I didn’t mention you specifically…I meant to particularly because you not only made something great but unfairly got screwed out of the credit you were due. You never mentioned it but I have $20 that say a bitch was involved in that somehow. Yes I remember your post on that subject well and left me boiling mad. Someday those folks will pay for what they did to you. God never forgets. And he also rewards guys like you for your work!

Nothing more i like than creating or building something . I haven’t done anything for a while but getting back into wood carving and building tables with carving on them is playing on my mind lately .

I have mentioned this before but alot of toys for boys that requires building or putting together like model kits have gone of the shelves in stores . No dads to show them or enjoy doing it with

Excellent point! Bravo BLADE. when was the last time you saw a toy store with Balsa Air Plane models, or Estes Rockets? Remember those? Or when have you seen a kid with an Erector set, or tinker toys?

If you can find things like these I recommend you guys with toys BUT them and then spend time with the lid building this stuff?

Nothing to forgive, and you are right to assume a woman be involved, but I digress…Men love to build and create, women love to consume, using the word love there metaphorically of course, as they do not understand love beyond what is worth to them in a tangible goods sort of sense….

That all reminds me of the Dutch version of survivor. The men made huts, found food, made fire and beds. The women’s team ate all their food and water and were found fighting with each other huddled in the rain starving and frozen. The production team had to stop the show and integrate the women with the men to save them. They couldn’t make s~~~. literally, after days with no food.

I understand your feelings.

I can’t go a day without creating something like a script or woodcarpenting. Tinkering and creating is my passion and nothing will distract me from that.

My examples are of me being a builder or a maker or a Mr. Fix It:
1 Builder of computers
2 I build 3D puzzles and form a puzzle city in my man cave bedroom
3 I built and decorated this Christmas’s gingerbread house
4 I built 7 foot tall buildings out of thick foam boards. They almost hit the basement ceiling.
5 I’m building my man cave in my room
6 I fix, tune up and format computers
7 I fix video game systems.

My example of women being all talkers instead of workers:
1 When I judged the election last month; I had 150 more voters than the woman sitting next to me, because I worked and she wouldn’t shut up all 16 hours. Very frustrating doing extra work and hearing her boring conversations!
2 When my mom talks to another woman or a relative she doesn’t make it short.

Seriously with the little that goes on in a woman’s life, what the hell does she talk so much about when ever they get near another woman?

oh… s~~~. I’ve honestly never stopped to consider it.

Funny, isn't it? How women thrive on a mans time, attention and resources, while simultaneously telling him he isn't enough...

I had never thought of it but the evidence is there. Makes sense now that you pointed it out. I guess that is why women love reality TV so much cause they produce nothing and have lots of drama. I think they see that as validation for their unproductive existence.
