Women can’t find their happiness despite the accommodations of their society:

Someone should do some research about the happiness levels of single men. Then compare the data to single women.

Here ya go. The resulting graph shows that women were happier than men in 1970 and have gradually become less happy and have reached a par with men. Men didn’t change much.

Maybe women really don’t like working or men are just as happy being away from women as, in the past, men generally were married, like in the early 70’s.

I think the reasons are very clear. Just taking care of the house and the kids wasn’t high enough status ! They wanted to work where the men worked. Well you got what you wanted, not our fault you didn’t believe us when we told you it’s not easy working anywhere from 36 – 80 hours a week.

Sure it wasn’t easy back then, doing the wash by hand, preparing the meals without modern day cooking utensils etc. But there wasn’t tremendous pressure like you get in the workplace. In the workplace there are strict rules you must abide by. You must be on time to the minute, Your projects must meet the deadline, and they must come without error, wether you only slept 3 hours or not means nothing to your boss.

They just aren’t very smart.

It boggles the mind doesn’t it? That women think “how happy they are” (or not) is something that should be newsworthy and make headlines.

When I hear the report of women, or a woman being unhappy, I treat it as an opportunity to provide some of that well deserved and consistently equality for women. I try to react exactly the same way as I would if a man made that report to me, or if that was reported to me about a group of men. That is, I remain silent and think to myself, “Is this person’s happiness more important than mine? When was the last time any one asked me if I was happy?”.

Then I usually just go back to whatever I was doing or thinking before that uninvited interruption occurred…

This is precisely what they wanted. It isn’t my fault if they are not happy after getting what they demanded; though it will surely be spun as such.

When have women ever been happy? It’s their nature to trade up. To do that you have to be in a constant state of rejecting what you worked so hard to get, after you get it.

My ex-wife once accused me of being content. To this day I am puzzled by it. I would think she should be proud of herself for being a part of the reason I was content. SMH
