Has MGTOW Merchandising been discussed?

I have to admit to only doing a quick look around for posts on this, so if there is a thread already can someone please link me to it?

If not, I am interested initially in getting hold of (or if necessary creating some) t-shirts or whatever with the MGTOW (yellow road sign) logo.

Are there any limitations (royalties, trademarks etc) on MGTOW images etc.

I’m guessing there will be a lot of strongly held feelings on this, in terms of NOT advertising you are a MGTOW etc, but it’s a discussion I would enjoy having so I can understand the various beliefs.

My personal feeling is that (without knowing the funding reserves of the people running the website) this would be  a great way of allowing them to focus more time on promoting the (Movement?), If they had solid funding.

The MGTOW Road sign would be a difficult item to Copyright at this point in time. Like the smiley face from the 1970’s it was released (internationally) without a registered trade mark “R”, “TM”, or copyright date. I don’t think anybody can, or will stop you. I know this because all my “ART” releases are marked “C” copyright, or TM, trade mark, without these marks it becomes public property by common knowledge, at least that’s my interpretation of copyright law; Patent, and patent pending are similar in nature…

I would like to have one of those hoodies on the front page for the video vote giveaway.  Is there a way to buy one or a place to get it?

On a broader note…God forbid anyone capitalize on merchandise (sarcasm intended) but I think it could go a long way in spreading the word to the public at large if guys started showing up in public wearing a shirt with the sign and “MGTOW”.  It may provoke curiosity and questions….or a brawl.  But none the less it would spread the message.  Just a thought….

Funny that question came up just now and cheers for the hint Hollowmile. As if I had known these terms you stated above, I am currently waiting for a T-shirt to be printed at my local photo shop with basically just our symbol printed on its back to the tune of a mere roughly 18 $. Darn, I can hardly wait until summer when you can run around just in a T-shirt (without a jacket) or better still I’ll wear it on the next wedding reception I’ll be attending (aahhh, such fun!).

In retrospect I think I might in the past have already even spotted such a T-shirt in my town before, but if I remember correctly that was a black T-shirt rather than a white one like mine is gonna be…

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. I have my own made, one on my bag and one for my Jacket. I replaced the Company Label on the small Pocket at the left arm to the MGTOW sign. It works and is also water resistant.

I made a kind of Business Card only the sign and the letters M.G.T.O.W. When I talk to some men and it comes to the Point asking me what is MGTOW I give it to them and telling them to search the web. They have to find it out by themselves.

Oh God, Stickers, Cards etc…. I think I am addicted….LOL.

Hey all I just had a question about this. I have been looking at having some MGTOW shirts printed t-shirts one color only the image I was imagining would be a picture from inside a car in the drivers seat with a road sign that has a few different destinations on it. Something like Manginaville 2 miles, White Knight Blvd 1 mile, MTOW Exit NOW! and have the MGTOW symbol next to that entry. The whole image would be black and white except for the MGTOW symbol and the view down the MGTOW exit would be in color.

If anyone is actually interested in this shirt I would get several printed. If you are interested please let me know. Additionally I am not actually looking to make a profit from this but I would like to be able to have some money from the sales go to helping MGTOW.com since they do such a fantastic job and ask nothing from us in return.

I envision a world where eventually rational and logical men go full 100% MGTOW and literally, we all have ‘MGTOW’ tattoos somewhere (arm, legs, back, etc). It wouldn’t have to be readily visible, just as a sign of solidarity and/or commitment to the cause.
