Young guy I hadn’t seen in awhile shows up at my shop. He’s 24 years old

Here are the things he says:

“things are going well, new job making 35K a year”

“getting married in two days…” !

“been together 3 years…”

“As a man I have to bring home the bacon “
(makes more money than she does)

(I asked about considering stacking away some of his earnings somewhere she doesn’t know about)

“Nope, we’re going to have a joint bank account and an agreed amount of money we can each spend… It’s not fair that I make more money than her so I need to share it with her”

(I s~~~ you not, she’s brainwashed him into giving his whole check over..)

Me: What do your male friends say about this marriage business?

“They all disapproved but have been very supportive…”

(so basically the typical ribbing you get from your buddies but no solid red pill offerings from his mates)

**** At the risk of seeming like an asshole (like flat our insisting that he not get married) you know what I’m saying, you just can’t do it. You just say, “wow, you guys are going to be so happy together, congratulations….”

Sometimes, there is nothing you can say gentlemen. They will simply not listen. I did not even try.

Being single in your 30’s (prime $$$ making years) is just smart. This is when all the c~~~s who spent their best years slutting around are looking for a sucker to pick up the tab for her lifetime of poor decisions and buy her all the s~~~ she is too lazy and entitled to work for herself. This is also when you will have the most freedom and resources to pursue your dreams and goals. What the f~~~ does a woman bring to the table? The ability to instantly ruin you financially? The ability to tie you down and prevent you from doing all those things? What the hell do any of them have to offer?

Anyone who wants to shame me for being a single never married guy with no kids in my 30’s can f~~~ right off. I’ll be ready for retirement right around the time they get divorced, lose their family, house, and entire net worth, and have to start over from scratch while paying child support to a greedy bitch for the next 18 years. We’ll see who feels like less of a man then.

The f~~~ing idiot that I was believed every word of the supposed NAWALT and dutifully worked my ass off to provide the comforts…Only my income was going into that savings account and she provided nothing to that “nest egg”…Only at the end of my marriage did I realize that my “dutiful wife” and her mother were helping themselves on my sweat and blood…I was even told that I owed some money to my wife because she was pulling out the “money she put in” before the marriage and that the funds have run dry…

It really doesn’t matter now. Try to convince him not to marry her and he will talk to her about it and you will lose him as a friend.

Tell him nothing and he will get married. She will take over his life and he will not be able to have single friends. She will cut them out of his life, she has already revealed she is controlling.

Either way you will lose him as a friend. I would just give up and ghost him now. You cannot have any impact on the marriage no matter what you do or say. He is going to get married no matter what. You are just not able to see she is a unicorn.
