Labour made a human out of a monkey. Helped to evolve. But modern work and way of life really tend people to degrade.

I’m still in the rat race as in an unfulfilling job, but I think I’ve at least escaped the race in my mind which is the most important thing.

I’m not pretending to be satisfied by it nor deluded that it will bring me happiness. I am hatching an escape plan 🙂

The sad thing is that so many people just go along with it never having the courage to question it or be honest with themselves.

That video made my skin crawl! Life in the city is life in moustopia!

The biting and tearing of arms and legs really hits home with me!

This is why I moved from Chicago to Florida…. the culture difference is unreal in the best possible way.

IF you let society tell you what makes you happy you are doomed to the rat race. Essential mgtow lesson. Reject society and go your own way.

the culture difference is unreal in the best possible way.

You make a great point. Matching your personal culture to the culture of your environment is going to have a huge effect on your happiness.
Cities have their own culture and actively seeking the match that’s right for you is a good strategy.

I think they are meant to be rats as in the rat race, not mice.

The only problem with the Rat Race is…even if you win: you are still a rat!

An educated, armed populace cannot be enslaved.

Good little summary of the real world!

And pretty accurate, everything is really advertised with false happiness of fake happy people. Buying lot of useless stuff is not enough to make someone happy. Buying useful stuff is still just everyday life, not happiness.

Having a somewhat interesting job one mostly likes doing is less bulls~~~. Having more money just means to deal with less bulls~~~, not winning. Love, alcohol and drugs are fake happiness with just different amount of hangover afterwards. There is no good answer. Also going my way only means just to deal with the absolute minimum of bulls~~~. But it is tranquility and peace, at least.

Brilliant video! Hope no one was rat-spreading in that subway car. Not enough room for it.
