There should be a no contact rule in place. No contact with someone of the opposite sex unless another person is present. Nothing gets said or done that you would not be comfortable with your spouse present.

This was my self imposed rule when I was married. Worked like a charm. Sure there were plenty of women I was attracted to but nothing could ever happen.

People need to realize that when you make the commitment to be married, you give up many of those things you took advantage of while single. Instead, it get’s treated as some sort of freedom card. I can flirt with other guys now because he can’t leave me without giving me my payout.

Actually it’s about right if you think about it. Half of them have a plan b lined up. The remaining half are in relationship with the plan b.

I have to give credit to my stupid XW for planning and execution of the monkey branching.
As I later found out, only two weeks after I accused her of cheating and kicked her out of the house – she had not one, but two people actually propose to her. I checked her phone records and it looked like she did not have them before I kicked her out. She had other flings at her job and what not, but it looked like they weren’t in the picture. Plan B was a bully alcoholic alpha and Plan C was a complete hipster mangina. Plan B already rented a house for them and moved some of the belongings in. She managed to lead them both on a wild goose chase – plan B didn’t know that C existed and vice versa. After she had them lined up, she showed up at my house and told me that the door is still open and she hasn’t made the choice yet between three of us. I told her that she can count me out – I made my choice already. I spent next day bagging her s~~~ in garbage bags and tossing them on the front lawn.
Later it came out that she chose the plan C (the Hive made that decision for her). They moved in together and once the divorce was finalized – got married.
I am not really mad at her for abandoning our marriage after studying female nature. At that time I lost my career, was unemployed for more than 1.5 year struggling with getting off psychotropic drugs, savings were running out and promotional balances on credit cards running out.
But the thing I’ll never forgive her – was her story of a victim that she painted to her suitors and now husband – that I was an abusive husband who beat her up, broke her jaw once, raped her and that I was
a junkie, while the reality was that I was none of those things – I was a great husband who sacrificed everything for her, loved her and s~~~.
Good thing we divorced with no lawyers on my terms, so I kept the house and still have joint custody with minimum child support. But that was because I threatened her to kidnap my daughter and disappear, and she knew I was the kind of guy who was actually capable of doing so. Or maybe it was because she felt guilty for treating me that way after all that I’ve done for her.

So no, I don’t think she had those guys lined up, but she did that very quickly once the jig was up. I’m guessing all those other guys she tried lining up before – didn’t fall for it. So she had to resort to come up with something on a dime by playing a victim card of a damsel in distress who wants to escape an abusive relationship and needs a knight in shining armor to rescue her. That was pretty smart on her part, but I’ll never forgive her for doing that

Of course there’s an easy and obvious way to avoid it ever happening to you. A woman can’t cheat on her commitments to a man who refuses to make any commitment to her. Thus the marriage rate is collapsing.

Women always say men are afraid of commitment. But women themselves don’t keep their commitments. Men are not afraid. Women simply aren’t worth committing to.

Excellent point. I assume a lady is with me only until she finds someone better. I don’t assume any woman is faithful- it’s in their nature to look for the better deal.

Agreed, at least up to a certain point as I have not gone full monk yet. It really isn’t as difficult to do as it sounds. Being single now, I’m never alone with someone till I know there fairly well. First dates are always in a public place and I would to pick them up if they asked.

But CPig you don’t understand. Her situation is differently then those other girls. She drank a bit too much, which is not like her at all, and that guy should have known her yes didn’t really mean yes. And if she hadn’t been an emotional wreck because Chad dumped her, she wouldn’t have even gone to the bar dressed that way in the first place. None of this is fair to her and she shouldn’t have to face the consequences of being labeled a slut or dealing with regret…because of circumstances that were beyond her control. She’s a good Christian girl, not a slut. It’s not fair!
