trying to make history here fellas! This could have a trickle down effect for all states and be a small step forward from modern day slavery. Of course women hate it!

Never lose sight of what brought you here.

“The group is calling on Scott to reject Lee’s measure and form a neutral, bipartisan family law task force to study proposed legislative changes in depth and make recommendations that they contend won’t put Florida’s women and children at risk.”

If alimony is a two-way street, the children will not be at risk…but the women will! Ha ha! Get a job, bitches!

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

If I lived in that state, I’d vote for everyone who supports it. I call it the “Let Us Stop Robbing Men Act.”

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

It must be terrible to watch your free ride be put at risk. I would fight to keep it.

Problem is when trying to justify why my free ride earns less than the parasitic passanger ….. well …. that don’t look so good on paper. The reader would ask questions and maybe even apply common sense.

None of which would serve the free ride agenda.

I was always told by dad that there’s no such thing as a free ride …..

    He was a man ☺

I’m done hoping for any improvements or aleviations in laws destined to f~~~ guys out of their life… anywhere. But Florida is the last place I’d expect any swerve in the right direction for Men’s Rights.
I wouldn’t hold my breath, MGTOWmonkey.

Wasn’t something like this getting pushed out in California too? Not because of actual equality, but because of rich WOMEN whining about having to pay alimony to their deadbeat ex’s.

Snowball’s chance in hell. Not giving women the whole damn enchilada while the male victim lives in his car eating Ramen noodles is “Hostile to women” well f~~~ me. I noticed my State is on the list too.

I’m sure I’ll be treated to the same media circus.

    Go go Florida!
I never understood the anglo-worlds obsession with allimony, much like any man or woman from my part of the world. Hell; even our feminists think this is an obsolete way of life!
Child support is one thing; get offspring and paying half the cost is reasonable, but for your ex? F~~~ her with a flagpole and tell the bitch to get off her fat priviledged ass and get a job!

The only way these laws will change is when women are hit up more than men. With men graduating college at 30% and men making less than women before marriage it won’t be long before our fem-lords decide that alimony and outrageous child support awards are a bad thing and should be abolished.

    I give it two generations.

It’s that male privilege you know. The one where they have a job and the jobless women are always the victims.

Are you done voting for liberal democrats men? It’s time to bring back conservatism.

Alimony is just a singular word condensed from three words: All-Your-Money……
I see female greed in divorce settlements being a catalyst that fuels men to become MGTOW, someday I envision entire MGTOW townships, where men aren’t fleeced by the property tax code to support the feminazi education union, no kids, no schools, and no outrageous taxes!!!
It’s time the gynocentric workhorses (Mangina & White Knight) be made pull all the weight they serve and so gallantly defend!

I’m MGTOW, No bridal shall be tolerated, no saddle shall be mounted, the leather straps they prepare to endlessly bind me shall only serve as whips to be used in the lashing and beating of themselves into extinction!

Since they are so keen on defending these f~~~ing ingrate harpies, they need to put their money where their mouth is. Great idea!

I’d up and sell everything to move to a MGTOW exclusion zone. School taxes are the #1 highest part of my property tax burden. I get nothing for it, and they turn out functional idiots.

    UniteWomen.Org FL [….]

The group is calling on Scott to reject Lee’s measure and form a neutral, bipartisan family law task force woman-friendly unfair task force to study proposed legislative changes in depth and make recommendations that they contend won’t put Florida’s women and children at risk.

UniteWomen.org state director Jan Lella said, “This bill, like its predecessors, will economically devastate women greed-ridden lazy harpoons in traditional marriages who are divorced.”

She said the bill “is hostile toward women” because in addition to dramatically reducing fairly allocating alimony awards, it will place the burden of litigating for need on the spouse who has little to no income women. “Like those sponsored before it, SB 250 presents a one-sided and indefensible refuge for men seeking to punish or abandon the women a fair hearing against women they married and the children of the marriage in a divorce.”

    [….].

Among the provisions included in Lee’s bill:

Requiring a judge to “make specific written findings of fact regarding the relevant factors that justify an award of alimony.”
    [….]
Creating a legal presumption that “approximately equal time-sharing with a minor child by both parents is … in the (child’s) best interest.”
    [….]
UniteWomenOrg. FL contends that if adopted, the Senate “Family Law Reform” Bill SB2 50 or variations of it would be the most sweeping change to Florida family law in the state’s history – “all with no substantiating economic, sociological or fiscal impact study study to show the implications of the bill as detriment to women.” They say that if passed and signed by Scott, SB 250 will make Florida the first state in the nation to force a split 50-50 implement a fair child time-sharing presumption onto its residents.

The Florida League of Women Voters, the National Organization for Women, the Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida and the Florida Breastfeeding Coalition groups against justice and generally men also oppose the Lee bill.

And for the strong and independent women:

The Code of Hammurabi (1754 BC) declares that a man must provide sustenance to a woman who has borne him children, so that she can raise them:

    137. If a man wish to separate from a woman who has borne him children, or from his wife who has borne him children: then he shall give that wife her dowry, and a part of the usufruct of field, garden, and property, so that she can rear her children. When she has brought up her children, a portion of all that is given to the children, equal as that of one son, shall be given to her. She may then marry the man of her heart.[2]
    Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alimony

Which in effect was money paid for a maid/servant/slave who was impregnanted to go far away and raise the child and to never be seen again lest the man is judged by society for boning another woman beside his wife. Unfair and oppressive to the pregnant woman in question but hardly something to support the strong and independent narrative.

What’s sort of poverty belittlement to women is it called when ya don’t have kids, a marriage, and alimony? Where, when, and how will they assign the blame for their miserable existence on me? I have no kids, no wife, no contract, and NO CONTACT, but yet the poverty of any given female is some how my fault?
    Their logic is insanity!
Weather or not we slave and serve them in the realm of their insanity, WOMEN WILL NEVER TRULY BE HAPPY, the best policy when dealing with their insanity is to (as they say) duck and cover, drop and roll, and a million other forms of self preservation!!!
Personally, I’m not sorry for being the nail sticking up from the board of logic covered with feminist blood, with blood trails dripping in every direction. When I was a kid it was tacks, now that I’m all grown up I use nails!

Actualy it is the women who are complaining the most as now they are having to pay men Alimony, because they make more. The feminists are crying about it and it is their own fault. The alimony rule is set so that which one has the most money has to pay. If the women make the more money than the men then they are the ones who will have to pay and not the other way around.

This is indeed a great sign as now the women are being screwed by the very laws they helped put into place. Mean while in MGTOW land, The men that are going thir own way are doing fine and are continuing to better their lives and business without having to deal with any pointless drama.
