Hi all, I’m a 41 y/o from the UK. I’ve been on the path to MGTOW pretty muh my whole life, but I didn’t have the sense to join the dots.

I was always a Beta, short, geeky guy. I was a virgin til I was 24 and I was always sneered at by the girls (and later women) chasing the bad boys.

During my 20s, I can distinctly remember two mantras my inner voice would tell me regarding relationships:

1. Women only care about what they want and how to get it.

2. If you are a guy in a relationship, YOU ARE EXPENDABLE AT ANY TIME for the better offer.

This, combined with my treatment at the hands of women generally looking down their noses at me like a homeless beggar put me off.

However, I met somebody when I was 25. Two years later, we had a child (her pill failed – fancy that!) We had to move in together suddenly and she changed into a bullying battleaxe. In the end I started giving as good as I got, so she cheated with a badboy in work while I was at home holding the baby.

She since got ANOTHER guy, moved in and suddenly stopped me from seeing my child. I had to fight through the courts for a year just to get visitation access again. When you face smears and lies from somebody who once claimed to love you – combined with the pain/fear of not knowing when you are next going to see your child it changes you. It really does.

The strain of the court case changed me into a miserable c~~~. I was horrible to be around. My then gf and I split in early 2013 due to the arguments. Been single since.

Signed upto POF in 2013, was trolled off due to not being 6ft/mega-rich etc. I thought ‘I can’t be THAT ugly….can I?’ so I did some googling.

I discovered the term ‘hypergamy’

The rest gradually fell into place and here I am now.
