I’ve been here for a several months reading the forums topics and gathering information, so it’s time to introduce myself. I’m a 34 years old Spaniard who works in the Spanish army as an anti-aircraft gunner, corporal. I’ve been always an introverted and curious person, and after a couple of relationships I married a woman whom after the wedding told me that she had obsessive-compulsive disorder. As the years passed by, she get worse and when she was diagnosed schizophrenia she asked for divorce. I signed the divorce papers last year, so now I’m a free man with no kids and not paying anything. I discovered MGTOW on March and my live is improving each day, I have more money and more time to improve myself, and I found a peace of mind  I could never thought that existed before. It’s true that this site saves lives, and I must say a very big “thank you” to the people who make this site so good and interesting.

I will be on the forums and I want to write often if I can give any useful information, and please forgive any grammar errors, English is not my first language but I’m always reading and trying to improve and learn.

Hey, can you tell me if Spanish in Spain is the same as Mexican Spanish? Just wondering?

Well, when my ex-wife told me years ago that we would never have kids because she had a mental disease, that was very hard to me. I was a true blue pill man who wanted a wife and kids, so I couldn’t believe that a woman does not wanted to have a baby. But when divorce appeared, I was thankful for not having kids. No kids, no child support.

Spanish in Spain is not the same as Mexican Spanish. It’s like British English and American English. They have different accents and different words, but a Spanish man and a Mexican man can communicate and understand each other, despite they have different accents and words. In fact, when Americans came to Spain, the usually speak Mexican Spanish, and because of that we spot them easily.

    Hello there.

I was taught Spanish by a woman from Seville when I was a teenager and to this day many Mexican-Spanish people laugh at me for having an accent! It really is rare to see Americans speaking Spain Spanish. The accent really does make a difference.

You are also lucky that she understood that she was unfit to be a wife and mother. Many American women with mental problems have children anyway because it’s their “right”. This leads to a steadily worse mother whose children also inherit her illness. It’s horrible! I am very glad you found our forums and hope that we can help you stay encouraged and on the MGTOW path.

Always love how foreigners ask us to forgive their English errors and their English is, to a man, better than what comes out of most of my fellow Americans mouths and hands(typing).  Welcome ronin.

Mexican Spanish, and because of that we spot them easily.

I’ll consider myself spotted, not that the Mexicans or Caribbeans to South America can’t spot me, they do, in fact they correct my pronunciation, but I do know enough Spanish to get around and ask basic questions, I blaze through port and get what I want while other tourists are herded by English speaking guides. I learned Spanish because I figured it was the other half of the world (geographically)  Thanks for the answer!

@bestoftherest, I don’t have a degree, but I’m saving money every month in order to achieve that goal. Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome.

No child support and no alimony!

You passed GO and collected your $200.  You get to keep playing the game however you want.  Well done.
