I totally agree. I grew up in a very conservative church and would have never believed any of the MGTOW guys even with any statistics or real life examples.

I think the dream of a healthy, happy marriage is just that—a dream. But try telling that to a brainwashed 19 year old.

Exactly…its like the equivalent of someone telling you SURPRISE MOTHER F~~~ER THE EARTH REALLY IS FLAT. You wouldn’t believe them, and you’d think they are nuts, but after you watch a few people fall off the side or have hung off the side yourself, you start to see it a little differently.

I know when I first started to accept reality…it was just kind of like damn…30 years of being brainwashed and being wrong…how could I have been such a moron? I’m just grateful that in the end all the women were too busy riding the carousel to marry me before I saw reality, and that I didn’t end up with any kids because fighting it out in court for custody and getting raped for child support are things I never want to do in this life.

Heard of a really poor sucker the other day. Heard this woman telling another of a married friend of hers who decided to start dating a woman on the side. Said she was always lesbian, but wanted to get married, because she didn’t want to work. Just another in a long string of WTF things only they could think of.
